If you’re into serious PC use, it surely is. Win 8-10 are probably okay if you’re into just playing games and posting stuff on social media. Otherwise, no.

My desktop has W10 and can’t go back but about 9 months ago I had to reformat my laptop and it once again has W7...and I love it.

I have an offline Win7 machine which is strictly for Flight Sim X. I would never connect a Windows machine to the internet. For everything else I use Mac and Linux.

I prefer 7 to 10 by a wide margin, but my last 7 laptop died. Been using 10 for a few months and dislike all the updates and how it resets things to defaults I guess MS likes. Plan to try Linux sometime soon.

I got tired of trying to negotiate around Win 10, so I loaded “Classic Shell” free, and it looks like the previous Windows OS. Also use the grey-green background color on my desktop screen so it looks like I’m running Win 95, or 3.2.

You cannot do much with android. Make phone calls and play video games on the phone and check the weather and stock prices. Oh and be tracked everywhere you go.

Windows 10 is the only one available for sale. Microsoft blocked Windows 7. Windows 10 is bland as can be and a jumble of dialog settings. One name and a bunch of updates.

After January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7.

Ask me if I care. I turned off the updates a long time ago. Maybe someday I'll get stung but not today.
