A New York City law banning so-called gay conversion therapy would be repealed under legislation introduced Thursday over concerns that a pending federal lawsuit could lead to a decision unfavorable to the LGBTQ community if the case were to make it to the Supreme Court.
Council Speaker Corey Johnson introduced the repeal in what he called “a painful decision.”
The council had passed the ban against the widely discredited practice, which aims to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity, less than two years ago, at the end of 2017, and it took effect last year.
The proposed repeal now goes to a committee hearing, scheduled for next week, and then would have a vote in the full council and, if it is passed, would be signed by the mayor. […]
The Alliance Defending Freedom had filed a federal lawsuit over ban in January on behalf of a therapist in Brooklyn, saying it violated free speech between a therapist and client. …

Exactly how can the government tell an adult seeking such a thing they can’t talk with someone else about this?

Showed some pics to someone that had never seen anything other than those sanitized by the liberal media for public consumption.
NYC, St. Louis, San Francisco (of course), New Mexico, London, Tel Aviv, Berlin, Paris, Iceland, Toronto, somewhere in Canada with Justin Trudeau (of course), Amsterdam (no surprise).
Obviously I’ve got a whole mix of cities, U.S. states, other cities, other countries in that list. And that’s just off the top of my head what I saw. A good number of the pictures were not appropriate to post here.
The person I showed them to had no idea people were marching (as they do) in some of these places. I’ve never seen one of their parades in person (thank goodness).
The marchers I’m less surprised at than the fools lining the streets. With their children. Some pics of people helping children build stuff for the parades.
What you find was shocking not only in content but in the breadth and depth of this. It’s like a huge public rebellion against God in the streets. I don’t know how else to put it.

A lot of non-English speakers think it is cool to use English. When I went to Korea, I happened to arrive right after a plane full of Chinese tourists. Many of them wore t-shirts with English words. I’m pretty sure they did not know what their t-shirts said, as it was more Engrish then English.
I thought maybe it was because DeBlasio’s wife was a lesbian before they married, thus proving conversion is possible. My error was thinking they might be concerned about hypocrisy.

They’re using English words in Bucharest?Two things:
1) If the world is watching, you want to slap in some English. This cam be seen in public demonstrations of all types around the world.
2) "Pride" specifically in a Sodomite context is now an international word as it might be "taxi" or "OK".
It was really kinda depressing to see so many fools doing this and even more fools supporting this sickness by showing up and cheering.
OTOH, it’s very clearly a sign of the end of the Church Age, just as prophesied.

Seinfeld once joked (in the show) that they lose very few members from their “team” as he put it. I don’t know what the success rate is but it wouldn’t surprise me if it isn’t low. That being said, I still support their efforts.
