Humans took a similar route to reach North America some 15,000 years ago, but the hyena migration happened much earlier.
“It is amazing to imagine hyenas thriving in the harsh conditions above the Arctic Circle during the Ice Age,”
“So they are an all-around ‘triple-threat’ of a predator, being able to run with their long legs, hunt and cut meat with their sharp teeth, and scavenge with their powerful premolar teeth,” he said.

What data set are you using to verify 1976?
You should have seen my gas bill from when Juicy Smollett was out and about getting worked over with his ‘club’ sandwich!!!
And back in 1972 it was recorded at 33 below at the Gacy house in Chicago!!

No. Humans were already in the Americas thousand of years prior. Recent DNA studies say so - at least 36,000 ago and maybe much further back. Some other group may have used that route but they were late comers.
Beringa was much like the Russian steps today and not a "harsh" climate.

Time Magazine, ABC,NBC,CBS,LA Times.NY Times,.. virtually every publication and news outlet hyped the Ice Age from about 1972 to 1977
