I visited London in October, 2012. I’d never been before. One thing I noticed was an almost complete absence of white people. Other than tourists, the only white people I saw were the men driving the “black” taxis -a job that requires memorization of every street and alleyway in all of London.

Last month I traveled to England, visiting Stratford upon Avon, Portsmouth, York and a few other towns. I went through London but spent very little time there.
The overwhelming number of people I saw were .... English. Lots of English. Also some Scots and a very cool Irishman with whom I conversed over breakfast at a pub.
There was a smattering of the followers of the ROP, but far fewer than I had been led to believe.
It was heartening.
