Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this transformation as follows:

When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.
Difficult truths will soon see the light of day.

J Smith created the same impetus in LDS. While he lacked the push (sword), he ingeniously created an even greater pull. Using the 1A as an umbrella, the state had no effective means to combat a team of pedo-rapists from first kidnapping, and then having each others' friend "marry" them (many multiple times I might add). Is it any wonder that out of the untold multitude religions created nearly 200 years ago, only three have survived? (LDS, JW, CS)
As a devout atheist, I'm in a unique position to evaluate the success/failure of different religions. Like any good marketing campaign, they need to be designed for a particular audience. Xian appeals to the inherent good in people, while Islam decided to emphasize the dark side. With history as a guide, we can see the general population is pretty much evenly divided.
If I were considering religion, I'd look hard and long at Islam. Lots of upside and very little, if any downside. State protection, shielded from criminal prosecution, large established apologist organizations. I mean, who wouldn't love to be a perpetual whiny victim while committing multiple crimes on a regular basis?
Wow! When I went to the Twitter feed just now, I saw no push-back to Romney. I guess the criticism has been scrubbed.

It is hard for me to conceive that Gen. Flynn is not part of the Q team.
I'm wondering if he will have a future public role after he is exonerated by reversal (in light of "New evidence") or pardon.

In modern times, Islam pulls in followers the way you mention. But historically, it’s been the Koran or the sword.
Joseph Smith made a statement (paraphrasing) that of all other religions, he considered Islam the best. Islam and LDS have a lot in comment.

I don’t believe Zoros ever caused harm to others. I read about its origins but can’t remember the details. Tolerance of other practices and beliefs is a very good thing, which sadly has been exploited in India by religions who were (are) not tolerant.
Ever read “Crimes Against India”? By Stephen Knapp, very well researched. I could only read abut 5 pages at a time, so horrific.

I hear you it would make me sad. Like when I read about the indigenous Christian Church of India which dated back to the very early days Anno Domine and happily co-existed with all the other Hindu, Moslem, and Sikh sects, but was brutally and effectively suppressed by the English and the Portuguese as heresy, resulting in source documents of immense historical import being consigned to the flames. Like the great library at Alexandria.

Could be. My thought processes comes from the drop that speaks of Justice Scalia’s death (AS, at that time was sussed to intend Scalia by the Anons, but it still could have been Schiffty?).
The drop had the 187 in brackets, indicating to me that it was a controlled (planned] murder.
