Researchers from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology teamed up with colleagues from the U.S. and Switzerland and returned the state of a quantum computer a fraction of a second into the past.
"This is one in a series of papers on the possibility of violating the second law of thermodynamics. That law is closely related to the notion of the arrow of time that posits the one-way direction of time from the past to the future,"

I walked backwards to the place and state I was before therefore I went back in time.

They won’t be the first to violate the rules of thermodynamics. The global warming hoaxers did it decades before. Apparently the conservation of energy and balance of absorption and emission no longer hold.

We better get control of this real quick before HRC takes us all back to Nov 8, 2016.

What to do now?
Should I go back in time to that point where I first made love?
And repeat that in an infinite loop?
Or let the past be the past and move on into the future?
What to do?
What to do?

Out of curiosity I did a search for flux capacitor and I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw this on the ORielly Auto Parts page. You'll get a kick out of these items, then!

If they had actually succeeded we wouldn’t be reading about it.
We’d all be their slaves.

Before reading the article (as per freeprer policy), I thought they've detected that entangled particle reactions are not instantaneous.
From the description of the experimentation, they are were looking at a particle, then a quantum system and trying to determine the state.
It has been postulated that within possible realities, there exist one (or many) whereas order is the state that which matter & energy tend towards. Effectively resembling a backwards running universe.
By developing and executing the experiment, all possible outcomes/realities were collapsed to the event observed.

Effectively resembling a backwards running universe. Already been done.
Liberals have been living in a backwards running universe for decades.
