Democrats Nancy Pelosi and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the "Red Flag Bill" into state law this week, allowing authorities to confiscate guns from citizens. The law comes into effect 180 days from the date of Monday's signing.

It’s too salacious for me to investigate and click on the blog. It’s either a deceiving title or exaggerated alarmism.
I agree. Personally, I'm just too lazy to click my mouse and attempt to verify the veracity of the source. I'd much rather type a thousand words or so about whether I think the source may be flaky or not than to check the article myself.
Why can't FR use only MSM sourced articles which unfortunately require excerpts? Maybe everyone would be happy. At least we wouldn't have to deal with those click-bait bloggers.
‘Orders’ have to come down to some police chief, and he will issue the order for a ‘fetch-the-weapons’ episode. Ten cops go out to enforce it....one cop gets seriously wounded or killed. The question then comes up to the Chief...about enforcement. He’ll grin and move onto episode number two, and they end up burying some cop, and at that point, respect is lost for the chief. Dead cops have a value that politicians and police chiefs can’t take away.
On the other side of this....if you know you are on the confiscation list...the first thing I’d do is remove the weapon from my house or property, and ensure that the cops walk away empty-handed.
When the cops come to the door and ask why the gun isn’t there...just respond that ‘an alien’ came last night...taking it for safe-keeping. Then suggest that the alien lives in a sanctuary city, and weapons can’t be confiscated there.
As others have already said, Pelosi should not be involved in a state matter, especially a state she doesn’t live in.
This is one way in which 0bamacare and common core will work together to get guns away from the white man, thus moving him one step closer to enslavement:
Step one is either the Doctor or school will find out if Daddy owns a firearm by asking little Johnny seemingly innocent questions in a calm, caring tone of voice.
Next, find some feminazi with a vendetta or ax to grind or a Blasey-Ford type who is willing to make up a story (always a possibility especially when money is offered).
If that fails, the public school can easily manufacture some ‘behavioral problem’ with Johnny, tie it in to a dysfunctional home life, and contact the police to confiscate those firearms. For Johnny’s sake of course.
This is a major reason why it was critically important to get a clean repeal of0bamacare and rid the public schools of common core indoctrination. And why it was so foolish for the electorate to let up on the pressure to get it done.

Yep. I unfortunately live in NY. I have to, to care for a sick parent. But I grew up in Queens, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez district matter of fact, and let me tell you there is rampant voter fraud here. I don’t know ANYBODY who supports Cuomo, DeBlasio or that genius AOC and I know a lot of people on Long Island, Queens NYC, and upstate NY. Go look at Cuomo or DeBlasios twitter account, you’ll see all the hate messages they get. NOBODY supports these people. Same with Massachusetts. 2016 starting around March to October I had to make deliveries (I drive a truck) all over that state, east, west, north, south Mass. ALL I saw that entire time was TRUMP signs, Trump for POTUS MAGA, all over the state of Massachusetts, I RARELY if ever saw one for Hillary. And she wins Mass?? Voter fraud, absolutely. And it’s been going on for decades which explains how someone like Ted Kennedy got reelected for 50 years even after he intentionally allowed a woman to drown. I think voter fraud in these blue states is a hell of lot worse than people realize but of course the Republican party continues to hide under its desk.
Do you think maybe this just might be the trial balloon for federal legislation doing the same nationwide? And the Statist/Commies will followup with much more restrictive attacks on the 2nd Amendment. They never quit.

No. After reading some other articles this is a signing ceremony for publicity purposes.
Apparently the Legislature did pass a bill and it goes into effect 180 days after signing
as required by the NY Law.
Hopefully overturned on appeal since it’s clearly illegal.

No, Pelosi signed nothing. She was just there to smile and nod approvingly while dreaming of the day she can implement this type of bill and worse nationally.
