People still don’t know that movie makers buy awards ?
They don’t understand that it has nothing to do with talent, good work or hard labor ? All of these awards are bought and sold at high prices. The academy is a small group of very, very rich people who literally put themselves out there to be bought to present this award.

I will start the list Meryl Streep. I am amazed there is any scenery left without bite marks after every scene she is in.
Bill Murray is more beloved as a cultural icon than any of his acting roles. He’s more likely to earn a lifetime achievement award from the Academy than an acting Oscar.
Let’s have “the 20 best actors and actresses that haven’t won an Oscar” compiled by Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein.

WWE is an acting method, like Kabuki theater. It deserves a place in people’s hearts and it’s fun for many people. Living near the WWE in Stamford CT I have met several famous wrestlers, and I’ve known a few “jobbers” who toured and had a great amount of fun.
The awards thing is just pathetic.
Branagh?! That scenery chewing hack. Nope. Most of the rest of the list I agree. But Branagh stinks.

I can never see enough movies about someone hurting someone close to Liam Nelson so he can get a call from them and growl something like, “And make sure there’s enough pepperoni on it this time!”.
And hasn’t Bill Murray mostly done silly comedy movies? It seems that Oscars tend to go to “serious dramatic” movies and actors/actresses in those roles.
Murray, Harris and Malkovich belong on that list. I don’t think any of the others do. I should say that I’m not familiar with Branagh’s work.
He was in Lost in Translation for which I believe he was nominated for Best Actor but did not win.
They should just go to their cocktail parties. That is what they do best. the Academy Awards is the annual ‘circle jerk’ for Hollywood.
