Oh Costco, you’ve truly outdone yourself this time.

The wholesale store just figured out a way to make sure you will never run out of mac and cheese again: sell it in a 27-lb. tub.

You read that correctly, 27 lbs. That’s as much as about 100 baseballs, half a bale of hay or your average 3-year-old child.

Great for the Non-essential government folks!

And those who want and/or need to be on a budget!

Yes, but the clock starts ticking once you open it.

So, once you break the seal, you better be prepared to eat 27 lbs of Mac and cheese in a short time.

If you divided it up into vacuum packs and froze it, it could last 40 years.

Maybe we should buy some and donate them to poor out of work government workers.

Sorry about the shut down, here’s some Mac ‘n cheese.

I bet somewhere you could get 3 pound packs.

If you’re into prepping.

Have they eliminated genuine cheese, or are they using more preservatives than the others, or are they ALL really good for 20 years?

The article said that there are packets of elbow Noodle and packets of cheese sauce in the bucket. Individually wrapped.

I hate Mac & Cheese.
And I’m the only one I know who does. Too much in JrHS and HS, back in the late-50s & early-60s, along w/ Hot Tuna Casserole.

Put a couple of cases of Stagg Steakhouse Chili in your cart to mix in with it, also sold at Costco.
