Chest thumper. Poison to any unit.
When I posted, I was at work, posting from Firefox on Linux. I’m posting this from Chrome on OSX at home. Now, please don your pussy hat and go back to kneeling for the anthem with your NFL buddies.
Nice try Alinsky
Only you have nothing to thump your chest about - right, Buddy?
Whatever you say, Comrade.
“Even in today’s so called tolerant world, my son is treated in places like a second class citizen because his Mother is Asian. No comfort, nor reasoning can reach him about the injustice of it.”
Good lord.
My DIL is Asian and they have 2 kids-—late teens, early 20s.
I have never heard of any racial harassment.
.
Location location location. He lives in Northern Florida and it actually shocked me when I learned about it.
All I will say sir is you can what you want but I’m not waging war over a few d-bags and their stupid kneeling protests.
Nor I do I wish to wage war on fellow freepers, I hate to see the harsh words that have transpired between youself and a fellow veteran. These threads are for fun, nothing more, and I or Bender will continue them as long as we’re allowed. I’m sorry that upsets you, continue your weekly chastisements if you want, you have that right. God bless.
God Bless you too, buddy..
Out of 89 posts, only 9 are about picks for the games—
Sad state of affairs but that is what you get when you feed the fools. Do not reply to these clowns as it only encourages their self-appointed self importance they must have to give them the power to believe they and they alone have the right to express an opinion.
Let them bed down alone and unanswered in the piles of filth they spew.
Put me down for straight chalk this weekend — home teams go 4-0...
Only ones I am nervous about are the 2 NFC games — Atlanta did not get any favors with the late west coast start, but they have playoff experience on their side. And the Saints - Carolina game may be the tightest contest of the bunch.
As for feeding the trolls, I generally agree with you and am opposed to it. OTH, I guess they need some way to occupy their time before they are appointed camp guards or administrators for the places we’ll all be sent to for having fun in an unapproved manner. So since they are obviously starved for entertainment and bored out of their minds with all the boycotts of the NFL, hollyweird, disney, the MSM, and all of the product sponsors involved, maybe we are performing a valuable public service by keeping them occupied for a little while.
I hear you. :)
Kansas City
L.A. Rams
Jacksonville
New Orleans
If I do recall all home teams won last year, and all road the year before.
KC, despite their midseason struggles are clearly better team than TN, I pick them without reservation.
LA was 4-4 at home (and 7-1 road warriors), I've giving the nod to Atlanta's playoff experience. Closest call.
Buffalo is a nice story, with a -57 point differential. Gotta go with Jax.
Saints beat the Panthers twice this year, 13 out of 20 times such divisional rival have met in the playoffs since the merger the 2-0 team completed the trifecta, disproving the old adage. Saints will make it 14 out of 21.
I'll be rooting for the Pats this year, my top AFC team since last year thanks to Goodell. I wouldn't mind seeing Atlanta win, my dear uncle is a fan. Anybody but the Steelers.
This thread is about guessing the outcomes, not league promotion. Ive been guessing the games here every week. I may have watched half of a game the entire season. A Cowboys game.
Thats all I have to say about that.
Chefs win because Tennessee isn't as good.
Falcons win because I want them to and ... playoff experience?
Jaguars win because Blake Bortles is the GOAT. And their D is good, that too.
Saints win because Brees > Cam
How the hell can he keep his job?!

AFC: #5 Tennessee at #4 Kansas City 4:35pm ESPN/ABC Tennessee crept in despite a three-game losing streak down the stretch. Their offense has been anemic. That will not be good enough in Kansas City against the Chiefs, who, regardless of that horrible stretch where they lost six-of-seven, always managed to put up points. Plus, I like Alex Smith versus Marcus Mariota, with respect to postseason experience. Therefore.... CHIEFS.
NFC: #6 Atlanta at #3 L.A. Rams 8:15pm NBC Rams are one of the pleasant surprises of the 2017 season, and seem to be a very well-balanced team, with a diversified offense and a strong defense. The Falcons, OTOH, fought the Super Bowl hangover almost all season, doing enough to sneak in. So off to LA for them... Atlanta's playoff road record is abysmal. Will that change this weekend? Can the Rams contain Julio Jones? How the hell would I know? Again, comparing the QBs I'll take Matt Ryan over Jared Goff. Somehow the Birds will win. FALCONS.

AFC: #6 Buffalo at #3 Jacksonville 1:05pm CBS Congratulations to the Bills on making the playoffs for the first time this century. But your ride is over come Sunday. While Blake Bortles doesn't remind me of Joe Montana, or even Trent Dilfer, that Jacksonville D can be suffocating, and I don't think the Bills have the options on offense to overcome it. JAGUARS.
NFC: #5 Carolina at #4 New Orleans 4:40pm FOX These two meet for the third time, with New Orleans having won the previous two. Let's make it three! It won't be easy, but I like Drew Brees and the Saints new running game along with their reborn defense to hold off Cam and Company. Especially playing at home. SAINTS.
And in Monday night's backyard brawl between 'Bama and Gawgia, I like the Dawgs to pull off the mini-upset and win the national championship (and as a Tech alum it kills me to say that!). Georgia is National Champion!
GMTA!
1. No weather impact this weekend
2. Mon starts a warming trend in northeast
3. Pray 4 imp that he wears thermal underwear this weekend
A reprieve is near
