I’ve heard about five of them - one through four and number nine. But I’ve only seen 2001, Buckaroo Banzai, and Inception.

I must no longer be into scifi. I have only heard of one of these (2001 and I have yet to watch it from start to finish.

The others I have never heard of.

I guess my scifi days were 50s B movies.

I’ve seen most of them. Not sure I’d call any of them except Inception complex. Now many of them are not fully explained and you’ve got to put some thinking into it, but that’s not necessarily complex, that’s just a vaguer style of story telling.

Zardoz with Sean Connery didn’t even make the list. How odd?!

Interstellar (2014) was pretty twisty.

I have always thought 2001: A Space Odyssey was the best science fiction movie I had ever seen, possibly the greated sci-fi movie of all time. Had to watch it a couple of times to start to get it, but I really got a better understanding of it after I read Arthur C. Clarke’s novel on which the movie was based. It is really outstanding, and the special effects still hold up, for a movie made in 1968 that is remarkable. Just my .02

Doppleganger from the 70’s (there is another movie named Doppleganger, that is not Sci-fi) still is one of the most complex movies I have seen.

I watched "The Man Who Fell to Earth."

Considering the amount of ice that you can pick up for free floating around in space it made no sense to go rob another planet of it's water.

After the first fifteen minutes it began to bore.

The rest was just pitiful.

Complex, or incoherently nonsensical?
