Minneapolis, MN – Raymond Dehn, candidate for Minneapolis mayor, is proposing police officers leave their guns in their cars, but says it’s okay for them to have nightsticks or pepper spray.
Raymond Dehn, who is also a State Representative, is running against current mayor Betsy Hodges in this fall’s election, according to Fox9.
He said, “Officers don’t need to carry guns on their person all the time…I’m not saying they don’t have access to that, just like they have access to more lethal weapons in their cars, I would believe they would still have access to their guns in their cars.”

How about a proposal to not hire anyone with an IQ under a hundred and mental health testing to eliminate those so emotionally fragile and afraid of everything and every sound that they have to patrol with their weapons cocked and ready in their hands at all times ? That might be a good start.

Why not just have the cops sitting at a drone control center where they can talk to the people without fear of getting shot in the back. The drone can have a speaker, mic, and OLED display screen so the people can see the cop at the control center. If armed response is needed then regular duty cops show up or are already there monitoring the situation so they know what they are getting into before they go.
