Study finds surprising number of Americans think chocolate milk comes from brown cows

(WCMH) – According to a recent survey, seven percent of Americans believe chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

The survey was conducted by the Innovation Center of US Dairy.

Also most Americans are sarcastic when confronted with stupid questions.

- low fat milk
- heavy cream
- chocolate milk

When I was very little, I remember thinking, as I looked up at the stars in the warm summer sky, that the sound of the crickets was the sound of the stars twinkling.

Funny.

There are still warm summer nights I go out in my backyard, see the stars and hear the crickets, I think how wonderful it would be to again be so unencumbered by knowledge and life that I could make such a connection as I tried to work out the world around me.

Sigh. Brown cows and chocolate milk would likely be one of those connections.
