Ted Cruz and his allies are preparing for the coming National GOP Convention. According to NBC News, Cruz who recently attended a GOP convention in Texas told his supporters that the days ahead will be "challenging" for the Republican Party. He, however, expressed hope that those who remain loyal to him and the party "will be the remnant, will be the core of pulling this country back from the abyss."
Aside from this pronouncement, [he] has remained mum about whether he will throw his support for presumptive nominee Donald Trump. According to the NBC report, the support of Cruz and his allies in Texas is needed by Trump if he is squaring off with Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for the presidential elections. A Texan party elder, Steve Munisteri said that "Ted Cruz has led a national movement, a conservative movement. We certainly need solid conservatives to be behind our nominee [Trump.]"
... Cruz and his allies in the Republican Party are EYEING TO CONTINUE THEIR FIGHT TO RUN THE PARTY. Despite his failure to win over Trump, ... he is still hoping that when he attends the National Convention,... he will be able to bring about key changes in how the party governs itself and picks its presidential nominee. Aside from changes in rules, the party will also be working out its "official policy platform" as well as "determine how much power the RNC has to make new rules of its own."
>>The key discussion points, which will also be the likely flash points during the convention, will include CLOSED PRIMARIES. THIS MEANS DOING AWAY WITH OPEN PRIMARIES AND THE "CONSCIENCE CLAUSE," which will RELEASE CONSERVATIVE DELEGATES FROM SUPPORTING THE PRESUMPTIVE DELEGATE, should that delegate represent views that contradict theirs or the party.

That one’s on the house.
It sounds like Steve had to pat Ted on the head and handhold him through his wake in Texas. Jeff Sessions attended the state convention and spoke as Trump’s surrogate in Dallas.
The Cruz delegates walked out and did not stay to hear Jeff Sessions speak.
These are bratty people who disrespected an honored and favorite conservative senator. They travel all the way to Dallas and then nearly half the Texan delegation walks out. And they fail to represent the 3 million republican voters that handed them their delegate positions.
The rules that will be voted on will be for this election...Not the next one...
Go home and gather your thoughts, Cruz.
Does he really believe that’s why he didn’t win?
Well, for the moment at least. If I was Texas, I'd be asking him to prove he's a US citizen.
Wow! I didn’t even notice that the youngest also shunned him.
Do a little research Roos. Many states have Independent registrations double the size of Republicans and have long restrictions on changing affiliation.
Democrats will overwhelm the momentum that begins in the primary and outnumber us 3 : 1.
The more important point regards the delegate. If 5 million voters had chosen Ronald Reagan in California and the delegates were unbound to him and free to vote their own viewpoint, he wouldn’t have been number 40.
Elections Count! #StoptheSteal —Ted
Cancel open primaries, TEDDY BEAR what the HELL good would that have done you, YOU EVEN LOST EVANGELICALS,!!!! the ONLY damned thing you won were caucuses because you PLANTED people there to manipulate voters!!! GIVE ME A BREAK you are a LOSER!!!!
I have grown to hate Ted Cruz.
I hope he never wins another election in his entire life.
You mean like Florida, where I am from? Closed primary - Registered Independents cannot vote in the primaries. Are you suggesting that everyone should be able to vote for both parties?
Either did I. Some of the vids last about a second longer and I just happened to notice it. One can only imagine why the clip wasn’t played full length.
He needs to be outed and disqualified so that he realizes there is no way he leads this nation. Canada, is his best option
My fear is this. I pray Cruz or his legions of the CFR try not to harm Donald. Don’t know how true about the allegations of Ted’s father connection to Harvey Lee Oswald. If it is true, this has me worry.
Ted refuse to step away, knowing full well he is not whom we want for president. Looks like Ted is coming unhinged and is capable to do anything. Just have this bad feeling something will happen during the time of convention. I pray I’m wrong.
Ok let me put on my tin foil hat.
Ok let me put on my tin foil hat.
It’s not only Cruz I’m worried about but also Clinton/Bush Crime Families, they have BOTH knocked people off, more than once...
Currently Trump has almost 1200 delegates and Cruz has nearly 600.
Trump supporters outnumber Cruz suporters on any ‘vote’ issues that arise at the convention.
As soon as he gets a solid 1237, Trump will likely sit his people in the top positions of various committees and possibly even the RNC.
Cruz and his supporters can go sit in the corner with Romney.
That has clearly been his and the nevertrump crowds plan.
If Trump had squeaked by with barely 1237, I’d be very concerned. But Trump will roll into the convention north of 1400.
Cruz is relegated to being a pain in the but.
“There would be no reason to hold a primary election if the delegates were not bound to the voters decision and the election results.”
I agree. What in the hell is Ted talking about? He needs a long vacation to clear his head.
