If youre not careful, however, there is a chance that you could find yourself eating a full days serving (or more) of calories in a single meal. Using nutrition data from ESHA, HealthGrove found the most caloric burger at 20 popular chain restaurants.
HealthGrove ranked the list by number of calories for a serving size of one burger, and broke ties by selecting the burger with more grams of fat.
Next time youre craving fast food, avoid these burgers so you can satisfy your need for beef without adding significantly to your waistline.

I say eat to your heart’s content - then exercise accordingly.
Much more satisfying to do that then constantly ‘watching your calories’.
Hey! I didn’t authorize anyone to use a photo of me eating!
Is there a lawyer in the house?
Yes. And they're also picking on ones with good portions of cheese and also those that have given up transfats.
As a painless budget-cutting move, I've gotten rather good about food choices. Some of the burgers they graded D or even F are actually good bargains when you consider the amount of food provided. You could take one of those 1000+ calorie burgers and get two meals out of it (meat and cheese; salad and bread). Combine that with a healthy breakfast (fruit, cereal, milk or fruit sausage/egg/potato for example) and you've got a healthy day of eating for about $6.

Have lost some weight and want to lose 20 more this year.
Eating lots of fresh caught wild salmon and salads. Enjoying small treats occasionally and wine. I think I need to cut out the wine.
The beer I've eliminated entirely I'm sad to say. At least during my weight-losing phase. Maybe I can have it again once I get to my target weight.
A late thought: How many folks actually order those humongous hamburgers on a regular basis? I will admit that I’ve had a Wendy’s double and a Double Whopper within the last year, but that is only twice and then I skip the fries.
Oh well. I’m not counting the twice yearly trips to Indiana when I stop at the Steak and Shake on the way and have their Double steak burger, fries and a chocolate malt. Once going out and once on the way back.
So it is likely what gives it the rotten egg smell-which is what I find off-putting. I love garlic in just about anything.
I can’t eat the same amount of food at one sitting as I could in my 20’s but will on occasion pig out with a huge burger with fries and a shake.
Looks like a dinosaur turd on a bun.
“He BURNS the carbs and the calories. Its damn simple. Its not the burgers which makes you fat. Its your lifestyle that makes you fat.”
You don’t suppose taking “Special Hot Sauce” has anything to do with it?
I wish we had salmon here to catch-plenty of catfish in the river, though...
Definitely hazardous to your health.
“I cant eat the same amount of food at one sitting as I could in my 20s”
Same here, especially when back in my 20’s I was in the Army playing with Field Artillery and Armor (forward observer, the best of both branches)
“I say eat to your hearts content - then exercise accordingly.”
I throw in one or two fasting days a week. Works for me.
I’ve been surprised and pleased with the new Arby’s menu. I really didn’t like their roast beef sandwiches, but the new turkey/chicken/fish sammiches are a real step up for them!
60 and male
Are you thinking of Satterwhite’s?
It’s good to know what you are eating, but for a manual laborer, a 1500 calorie lunch for under $10 is a hell of a good deal.
We usually have burgers at home with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, sugarless pickles and no bun.
No fries, no chips, no sugar. Our burgers and steak are cooked rare. This keeps my Type 2 diebetic husband at a perfect blood sugar level.
Trans fats are terrible.
