Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, also known as ISIS, announced today that he would be disbanding all forces and returning all land to Syria and Iraq. The move was prompted by the ongoing Climate Conference in Paris.
"This is one thing we could not have anticipated," Mr. al-Baghdadi said in prepared remarks. "When we see the world coming together like this on such a dangerous subject as Global Climate Change, we realize that our Caliphate will never survive. It's only a matter of time before Climate Change is no more and the world's attention turns to us. At that point, we will have no chance. For the sake of the men, women, and children who have supported us, I can not continue a doomed campaign."
An emotional al-Baghdadi did not take any questions.
Sources close to al-Baghdadi who spoke on the condition of anonymity told us that it was becoming more and more difficult to recruit new fighters. "Even our existing people are extremely demoralized," one said. "The words of Donald Trump himself can not overcome our dispair."
According to their press release, surrender is total and immediate. Fighters are being paid and sent home by division. Any remaining money will be put into a fund to resettle Christians and Yazidis who have been displaced by the war.
"We thought the world was fragmented," one strategist was overheard saying to himself. "Who knew it could come together like this? This is a stinging rebuke."
So far there has been no comment from Damascus, Baghdad, Moscow, or Washington. One source inside the Kremlin said, "We are waiting to see if there will be any follow-up action. We want to make sure this is real before we decide on our next steps."

It almost reads like a book for young adults, but the language is a little racy. My eyeballs cringe when I read some words.

I was having a few minutes with Jake when I remembered I need to translate a page before I leave for church.
There's a gas additive which is supposed to clean the fuel-injector nozzles. It probably wouldn't hurt anything.
You could mess around with the oil you use, but that's chancy. One sure-fire thing to do is reduce the vehicle's weight, taking out anything from the trunk or whatever that isn't needed, including any dirt and trash that's accumulated.
If your vehicle is used only to transport one or two people, you may find that the extra seats can be removed and stored somewhere. They add a lot of weight, and none of it is needed.
Also consider how much air-pressure in the tires is comfortable for you. Higher pressure reduces rolling resistance. Anything other than the recommended may affect wear patterns on the tires, but you don't drive that much.
I don’t have much in the cargo area, besides a crate of water, and the back seat folds down for more cargo area; I tried driving with lower than factory psi in the tires, but the front end got squirrelly, so I added air to the preferred psi.
And I don’t like a dirty vehicle, as it makes me think my mind is just as cluttered and my car, so I have a trash bag that I empty when I run the truck through the car wash.
What is the name of that gas additive? Is that the STP stuff? My son suggested I use that when I had the Toyota, but I forgot the name of it.
I was using Castrol for older vehicles but I so seldom find the 20-50 SAE.
Probably any fuel additive that purports to clean the fuel lines and such will be beneficial. It doesn't need to be added with every tankful, but should perhaps be used occasionally.
The only other thing is that if you're the kind of person who won't let the tank go below half, you're driving around with a tank that's twice as big as it needs to be, and carrying half-a-tank of gas you don't need to.
It's a personal choice. Some people worry a lot about running out of gas, but it's still wasteful to carry more than you need. I fill up when the tank is near empty, and drive it until it's near empty again. Once you get used to that, you kinda know when it's time to keep an eye on the gauge.

On my budget, I can’t afford to fill the tank every time I get a whim. Payday is when the tank and filled and the vehicle is run through the car wash.
When I added more air in the tires, I immediately noticed the difference in the way the truck handled and the way it rode. I don’t like the ride, but I like being in control of the vehicle, and a squirrelly front end doesn’t give me the feeling of control.
I will look for an additive on payday.
Afternoon! I hope you’re feeling okay. I went to Mass and then to the charismatic prayer meeting. It was very nice. The ministry gave me flowers, which was a pleasant surprise.
One of my sisters belonged to a charismatic church for a while, but she lost interest in it. I’m glad you enjoyed the prayer meeting.
The chills and fever are worse, now, for some reason, so I will need to go to the doctor tomorrow for sure. I don’t want to as I don’t want the antibiotics, but I just can’t keep feeling this way. It’s slowing me down.
I did some research on a replacement laptop for two weeks and it’s going to run me $50+. I will wait till next week to see how much I have left after the bills are paid, as I can’t send this one off until I have a replacement. Just the thought of sending it back for the third time is repulsive.
I also have to get another flash drive to put the stuff on it that I have accumulated since it was fixed the last time, specifically, documents. Never again will I get a Dell!
And so, it looks like it’s close to bed time for me. I will take my last bunch of pills for the day and chase them with some yogurt and then I’ll shut this down and head for bed. I hope I sleep better tonight than I did last night!
The Spanish-speaking charismatics meet once a month after Mass. I usually forget to plan on it! They have prayer meetings outside church, too.
