Club for Growth: Trump 'Worst Republican, Simply Awful' (Club for Growth, is Simply Awful)

Them be war words.

Club for Growth President David McIntosh released an email letter this weekend saying the group was not going to "back down" in their fight against Donald Trump.

McIntosh claimed Trump is "posing" as an anti-establishment conservative, but in reality he’s a liberal.

The letter accuses the billionaire of supporting single-payer socialized medicine "to the left" of Obamacare; advocating the largest tax increase in history; opposing a flat tax; use of eminent domain laws to seize private property; and protective tariffs that will lead to "massive trade wars."

Notice all the crap and how all the little snipping puppies are now calling him a fake conservative, a liberal - or even equating everything he says to some obscure Democrat or Hillary. After he signed that pledge - then all hell broke loose -Trump should never trust Reese’s Pieces. I sure hope Americans are smart enough to see through this crap.

I had Medved pictured as the Mouth of Sauron, but he’d be a heck of a Wormtongue.

I think of a lot of the FReepers as the Riders of Rohan. They are only waiting for somebody to cast out the Wormtoungues and they’ll follow King TheoCruz against the hordes of Mordor.

Trump is attacking the hedge fund guys. He wants to tax them more. Coincidentally, it is a hedge fund guy who is donating big money to the Cruz campaign. Over $31 million.

“The label ‘Conservative’ is fast becoming the refuge of scoundrels”

I think is Bob Dylan who said:
“Patriotism is always the last refuge of scoundrels”

As for those who cannot afford healthcare, you have got to take care of those people.

Just who, exactly, is the "you" in that sentence???

Maybe "you" means Donald Trump. Maybe "you" means the people on the panel.

But I have a sneaky suspicion that "you" means me.

It’s becoming evident that many of the Trump cultists are labor union protectionists. The Club for Growth is a good organization and doesn’t deserve the crap being dumped on it.

I don’t care what the other kids think of HTE, your comment makes you damned cool in my books. ;-) I hadn’t ever made the connection that Rove = Sharpton = Jackson = Club For Growth.

Thanks for the insight. I am being serious. They are two sides of the same coin.

HTE enlightened me.

Club For Growth = Sharpton = Rove = Jackson.

Shake down artists one and all.

Seriously??

Union labors are the last thing Trump supporters are *protecting*.

FYI....your Club for Growth leader had this to say, about Trump and American jobs....

Earlier in the week, the Club for Growth attacked Trump for his proposal to penalize Ford Motor Company for putting a car manufacturing plant in Mexico rather than Tennessee.

“Donald Trump’s threat to impose new taxes on U.S. car companies will hurt the American economy and cost more American jobs,” David McIntosh, President of the Club for Growth, said in a statement.

So, the guy thinks he can get away with not only trying (and failing) to shake down Trump, but to also claim that Trump’s stance on keeping American jobs in AMERICA is going to cost American jobs???

Club for Growth may have been a legitimate conservative group, at one time (back when Chris Chocola headed it up), but this guy McIntosh is on board the Cheap Labor Express.

No thanks!!

If this is “GOPee”, please tell me what is acceptably conservative?

Some of the Club’s top policy goals include:

Reducing income tax rates and repealing the death tax
Replacing the current tax code with a fair/flat tax
The full repeal of ObamaCare and the end of abusive lawsuits through medical malpractice/tort reform
Reducing the size and scope of the federal government
Cutting government spending and passing a Balanced Budget Amendment to the United States Constitution
Regulatory reform and deregulation
School choice

But I have a sneaky suspicion that "you" means me.

What do you do when a 25 year old homeless bum comes in the emergency room with appendicitis? Do you let him die, or do you operate? If you operate, the hospital takes a loss which means they end-up billing people that can pay more. Or the government pays, which means you and I pay through taxes. One way or another, you and I pay if the hospital operates. So if you were making the decision, do you let them die or order the operation?

My opinion is that you have to operate. I don't like that capable people are living off the system. I think we should make that painful for them by forcing them work it off. But I would render assistance rather then let them die.

Just an FYI, when my wife had appendicitis a couple of years ago, the total bill was over $24k. Of course we had very good insurance. The kind obamacare calls Cadillac insurance.
