Everything is always a conspiracy theory, until it’s not.Perhaps it’s just me but having followed the GOPe schemes and machinations for so many years it seems a little blasé to see the Wall St republican control groups begin open admissions about how they construct their planning sessions. However, for the interest of those who still think the larger Big Club design is all just a massive conspiracy theory, perhaps it is beneficial to record the actual moments as they happen.David McIntosh the president of the Club for Growth lobbying group that represents the interests of U.S. multinationals and Wall Street...

Former President Trump lashed out on Tuesday at the Club for Growth, a leading conservative group, after he was left off the guest list of its annual donor retreat. In a post on his social media site, Truth Social, Trump ripped the group as the “Club For NO Growth” and recounted how his ties to the group fell apart after disagreements over his endorsements in high-profile races in Alabama and Ohio last year. He also blasted the club for initially opposing his candidacy in 2016 before repeating his false claim that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” against him. “The...

The Club for Growth is issuing a warning to its stable of congressional candidates this fall: Endorse Donald Trump and you might just lose your backing. The conservative group, which specializes in supporting outsider candidates that challenge centrist-leaning Republicans, is actively considering denying endorsements to any candidate that endorses Trump while the primary is still being contested, according to a source familiar with the Club's endorsement process. The reason: The Club hates Trump's "liberal views on economic policy." "A Trump endorsement, before anyone clinches the nomination, would be viewed as a serious error in judgment, and would be more difficult...

Club for Growth Action is claiming it took down Donald Trump in Iowa, and that it plans to do it again in South Carolina. The group, which has been consistently attacking Trump's conservative credentials for months, plans to hit the real estate mogul with a $1.5 million ad buy in the state that will start running Saturday on TV and digital platforms.

The fiscally conservative Club for Growth is claiming credit for two new polls that show Donald Trump falling out of first place in Iowa. The Club’s super-PAC, Club for Growth Action, has spent $1 million on ads in Iowa hitting Trump on his past support for universal healthcare, bank bailouts and raising taxes on the wealthy, as well as his current support for eminent domain. “Two days, and two more polls with the same message that Club for Growth Action reported on Oct. 6: Donald Trump lost his lead in Iowa,” Club for Growth President David McIntosh said in a...

The fiscally conservative group Club for Growth's super-PAC, which has been openly warring with Donald Trump, released a new poll on Tuesday showing the GOP front-runner falling to second place in Iowa. The poll found Ben Carson in first place with 21 percent support, followed by Trump at 16 percent, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) at 11 percent and Jeb Bush and Carly Fiorina with 10 percent each. It’s the first poll since late July to find that Trump isn’t in the lead in the first-in-the-nation caucus state. The Club for Growth credited Trump’s decline to a $1 million ad buy...

Donald Trump has been dethroned — at least in Iowa. A new Quinnipiac University poll out Thursday shows that Ben Carson now leads the GOP presidential field in the Hawkeye State by an 8 point margin, winning the support of 28 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers to Trump's 20 percent. That's a big reversal and a big drop for Trump, who just last month led Carson in the state 27 percent to 21 percent, Politico reports.

David McIntosh, president of the conservative Club for Growth, never imagined that he’d be spending $1 million to knock down Donald Trump. http://www.tribstar.com/news/indiana_news/club-for-growth-s-prez-says-he-misjudged-trump-s/article_ca0de02f-da7e-53d9-96f2-f820b79cc337.html

The fiscal conservative advocacy group Club for Growth said on Tuesday it was funding $1 million in advertisements attacking Republican Donald Trump in the early-nominating state of Iowa, the first concentrated campaign to dislodge the front runner in the race for the GOP nomination. The ads will launch on Thursday, a day after the second official GOP debate in which Mr. Trump will again take the center podium. They publicize statements Mr. Trump has made in recent years in which he takes positions on health care, taxes, and other issues that the group says align him with Democratic front runner Hillary...

The Club for Growth, a conservative group that has routinely criticized Donald Trump, plans to unveil a "major television ad campaign in an early presidential primary state" on Tuesday on the heels of asking top Republican donors to give the organization money to fund a multimillion-dollar campaign against the Republican front-runner. A public relations representative for the anti-tax group sent out a news release Monday morning announcing its super PAC arm, Club for Growth Action, would debut the ad on Tuesday morning at the National Press Club in Washington. Asked what the ad is about, Club for Growth spokesman Doug...

Them be war words. Club for Growth President David McIntosh released an email letter this weekend saying the group was not going to "back down" in their fight against Donald Trump. McIntosh claimed Trump is "posing" as an anti-establishment conservative, but in reality he’s a liberal. The letter accuses the billionaire of supporting single-payer socialized medicine "to the left" of Obamacare; advocating the largest tax increase in history; opposing a flat tax; use of eminent domain laws to seize private property; and protective tariffs that will lead to "massive trade wars." Early on today El Trumpo discovered that the “Club for Growth” was planning to hit him with some Donald-denying commercials: Donald J. Trump ‎@realDonaldTrump The phony Club For Growth, which asked me in writing for $1,000,000 (I said no), is now wanting to do negative ads on me. Total hypocrites! And so, he did what the Donald always does: Donald J. Trump ‎@realDonaldTrump .@club4growth should release the letter they sent me asking for $1,000,000. When I said no, they came out against me. A scam operation? Yikes!! Luckily for them, they wouldn’t provide the letter, because that would be terribly...
