FULL TITLE: Baker Has a Message for the Govt Official Who Just Fined Him $135,000 for Declining a Gay Wedding Cake: Hes Doing This With the Wrong Christian
Just hours after Oregon officials announced that Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of Sweetcakes by Melissa, would be fined $135,000 for their refusal to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding, Aaron Klein had a message for government officials: He has no plans of backing down.
He wants to silence anyone who opposes his point of view, Klein told TheBlaze, speaking specifically about Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, who has spearheaded the case against the couple. Unfortunately, hes doing this with the wrong Christian, because I fight back.
Klein also delivered a message to Americans and business leaders about why he believes that his case is monumentally important.
For years, weve heard same-sex marriage will not affect anybody, he said. Im here firsthand to tell everyone in America that it has already impacted people. Christians, get ready to take a stand. Get ready for civil disobedience.

I’m with you, 100%. Some of us are perfectly ready to battle tyranny right here. I’m in.
“Can I now sue my local grocery chain for not carrying my favorite mustard based barbecue sauce...”
You can if you’re gay and they don’t carry it because they object to it on religious grounds.
Samaritan's Purse is carrying the ball. They've set up a 'Persecuted Christian' category in response to the craven cowards of 'Fund Me' - who shutdown the individual funding for the Kleins, and other persecuted Christians in this Country. I'll send something more to the Samaritan's Purse folks.
The baker is court ordered to be silent.
Thanks for refreshing my memory - we donated after they got dumped by Fund Me or one of those outfits. Gotta donate some more.
That mouth needs something to fill it.
And yet he gives a cheery “FYS!”.
THATS how you do it.
NO ONE can be forced to perform their services.
Sell ‘em and anyone else a prebaked off the shelf cake...yeah, you probably cannot deny that. But to be forced to create?
Thats slavery. Oh yeah,.,,its against the Constitution...the old one, anyway.
Keep going to Muslim bakeries and ask why they haven’t been prosecuted yet.
Such a great and appropriate quote.
Screw SCOTUS. It’s time to stop hoping for justice from the courts. SCOTUS has made it clear you are a turd on the bottom of their collective shoes. These people are now going to come at all of us with everything they can. They are now putting their war on the Constitution into full overdrive. They will do it with the active assistance of the courts, NOT in spite of them.
As Klein says, it’s time for *real* civil disobedience. Brad Avakian and his ilk need to be dared to send in LEO to do their bidding. As in, you want it? Come and get it.
I am not exaggerating to say that they are going for the brass ring and they are doing now. From here on in, the assaults on liberty will intensify.
He can file in federal court. Happens fairly often, see the Waco shootout where there is a federal deprivation of rights suit copending with the state criminal prosecution.
Indeed. It isn't quote a copy of The Night of the Long Knives that Hitler had in 1934, but it seems like the closest thing America has ever had to a purge. Victims seem to be primarily Christian, but basically anyone is disagrees with Obama is at risk of being eliminated.
Even Trump is an example -- a presidential candidate with views on certain issues such as illegal immigration. Is the media reporting on this candidate's views? No. They are attempting to crush him, silence him, and force him off stage. Is that the proper role of the media?
Under Obama, yes it is.
But Christians who try to act like Christians are the main targets. There is 1.8% of the population who are being pretty successful at purging Christians. It's remarkable.
Not a court order, the order comes from some nickle and dime state administrative agency.
From now on, just frost bakery cakes with plain white frosting. Then let everyone who buys one take some pre-made lettering or flowers; sell them two couple dolls for top of the cake if they ask for dolls. Let the couple then just DIY decorate their own cake. That would simplify the whole thing & be less difficult for the bakers. Call them “Twinkie Cakes” after the inventor, Twinkie.
Yes if the store told you they refused to sell it to you because you are homosexual or a woman or old or handicapped or any other protected class.
So, I'm assuming the $135,000 fine was duly established after their day in court? Since this would be their property, too.

Well said.
I wasn't bustin' yer chops by the way.
You know, I’m kind of bummed out because Nabisco won’t make any Mallomars from April to October.
Do I need to move to Oregon to Sue them into submission?
