I’d believe Mr. Simms’ moral stance if he had shown any objection to using Washington’s namesake in the past. For him to suddenly display this self-righteous posturing reeks of rank hypocrisy. The time to take a stand, Phil, was prior to it becoming popular.

I wish we could get him to shut up about how much he hates my beloved Broncos. He disses them every chance he gets.

I hate football
Or rather, I hate the politically-correct, money-ruled, thug-player battleground the sport has become.

As Dennis Prager has noted: "Politically correct" actually means language that offends the Left.
Let's not use Simms' name either as it sounds very much like "sins" ... and we can't encourage that type of language in the softer, kinder sport football is rapidly becoming. I suggest using PS -- pronounced "piss" or "puss" -- as a PC-alternative.

Simms never had a problem before with Redskins. So, basically, he believes whatever the media tells him to believe.

I thought we had moved on from this issue and began addressing the roid rage being displayed in some of the players domestic life.
To: george76
His broadcast partner should try to tip him up.
“His style of play reminds of London Fletcher’s who was an undrafted free agent picked up by the Rams, who foolishly let him go, so he went to ... (pause)”
Simms: “The Bills, and later on to the Redski ... oops!”
