Awesome! There’s a cool restaurant in Tel Aviv / Yafo staffed with blind waiters, and, I think, blind chefs. The food is actually fantastic.

.....Nothing wrong with giving deaf people jobs, but I still want to say give me a hamburger....
I have exactly the same opinion at Starbucks (small coffee please) or anywhere else. You know what I do? You'll never believe it. I say:
"I'd like a hamburger, please."
Or, alternately, something like:
"You know? I think I'll have the burger."
You know what I get? A hamburger! Try it - it's so crazy it just might work for you too!
PS LOVE the 3rd grade deaf jokes! GO FREEPERS!

The menu does look interesting. It’s within walking distance so I might check it out.

Does Starbucks have a funny word for burgers? Do they even serve burgers? Have you ever heard Dennis Leary’s coffee flavored coffee routine?

$100 to the first Canadian who can sign
"Waiter, what's this fly doing in my soup?"
$50 to the first waiter who signs,
"I believe it's the backstroke, sir."
Of course, this being Canada, both parties must also sign in French, ne ç'est pas? Of course, this will present difficulties in Quebec, where the local bons vivants imperiously snap their fingers and call out "Garçon! bring Fifi a bowl of Poutine!"

I guess I’d just point to the menu, but I’d be careful to watch what finger I use. Don’t want misunderstandings.

Good for them. Hope the restaurant is a hit.

At some restaurants the staff will say “Come again!” as you are leaving, this is the first one I’ve heard of where they’ll say that while taking your order.

I thought the headline read "dead waiters", which I imagined could mean several things:
- Service is as slow as normal.
- Zombie waiters.
- Some kind of mechanical device similar to a dumb waiter.

Don’t ask the waiters why the music is so loud because they won’t understand.
