...” Hes presented a disturbing persona of one who is either been or is in the midst of being brainwashed”.....
Just reading your post reminded me how one could see this happening as his programs shifted to where they scripted in, deceptively, his religious leanings. If one wasn’t familiar with their indoctrination tactics it wouldn’t be noticed, but those who know how deceptive they are picked up on it right away.

He did , however, mention she was responsible for him attending the church.

They attended a lot of churches together, and then they both/all converted to mormonism, and weren’t some kids involved and a daughter praising the Mormon church before conversion?

"He jumped the shark when he decided it was a Great Idea to fund the invading hoards of illegals with My tax money" He said no such thing. That it is a flat out lie.
I don't agree with Beck on everything, and that's just fine. He has a right to his opinions.
I very much appreciate the efforts he has made to alert our nation to various issues, such as the rise of radical Islam, which he predicted years before anyone else did.
He is also right on about the need for conservative ideas to "get back into our culture" (paraphrasing). I wish him every success with his studio building project. No one else has done this.
As for him being emotional and/or Mormon-so what? Again, that is his business, not mine
Everytime there's a thread about Beck -the same group of trolls show up spouting the same lies, distortions, and put-downs. I suspect most of these are posted by leftist trolls attempting to use Alinsky tactics to cause as much harm as possible.
As for anyone else posting their dislike of Beck for the world to read-IMO-attacking an ally when you're in a war is always a bad idea.

Because he is stupid and he panders over race as well as a Democrat which is what he used to be
Glenn Beck is very envious of being Jewish but since that is impossible for him he decided Mormonism would have to suffice
He worships Martin Luther King and Civil Rights acts
And just last week I heard him declare to Sean Hannity that during slave days in the United States that slave owners could do absolutely anything including murder to their slaves free of legal ramifications which is absolute horseshit
and any student of history knows that....the laws are on many archives especially about executing slaves
he’s emotive and self aggrandizing
A huckster
it’s a shame because he has some good folks on his network
I understand the appeals to politically correct conservatives like some posters on for Republic and Dana Perino but I don’t understand why Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh have decided to get closer to him which I think that is a mistake
but it really doesn’t matter to be honest because when the shooting war starts and it certainly will one day all of these so called conservative leaders and pundits will mean nothing .....they will not even be a footnote at that point

I used to really like him, but like have learned to hate him over time.
I hate how completely serious he talks in a monologue and then in that same passionate as sappy voice he starts promoting Goldline.
He became SUCH an sanctimonious know-it-all after he studied up on American History and kept saying “if you knew American History like I do...”
I am so envious of those New York liberals in the park that tossed the glass of wine on him a year or two ago.

Maybe he gets that from the same dubious historian here at FR who believes that pre Civil War Southerners were ‘Marxists’. Which certainly would have been news to Karl Marx and the other ‘48er revolutionaries who were ardent fans of Lincoln and the Union cause.
It’s bad enough that so much of the American Historical Association is littered with leftists. It’s an added insult when characters claiming to be from the right add their own shoddy make believe version. And Glenn Beck is certainly one of them.

Lighten up Francis, get back to me when you get over the memorial crisis you are obviously dealing with. ;)
Beck is a tool. A boring one. He was attempting to push his agenda by helping criminal invading hoards with public support. Both political and financially.
When you admit that we’ll talk until then I don’t need lectures from L.I.V. on any site.

Glenn Beck is not always right but he does say things that needs to be said.
You can agree with it or not. Your choice.
It's not productive for us to call him an idiot, alcoholic etc. Leave that to the left.
Let's debate the merits of the issue rather than the person bringing it up.

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists]

Rand Paul On Shutdown: "Even Though It Appeared I Was Participating In It, It Was A Dumb Idea"I said throughout the whole battle that shutting down the government was a dumb idea. Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. If we were to extend the sequester from discretionary spending to all the entitlements we would actually fix our problem within a few years.

Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.

Rand Paul's immigration speech...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reformLatinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)Conservative television and radio host Glenn Beck highlighted the good coming out of Ferguson, Missouri amid the protests and unrest that rattled the suburb following the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown. "Yes there were looters. Yes there were vandals. Yes there were bad cops. Yes there were good cops," Beck said. "The good, the good has far out-shadowed the bad." Beck commended Arianna Huffington for going beyond images of protests and tear gas to point to the good deeds being carried out in Ferguson. "At a time when most were using Ferguson to divide or gain power, Arianna...

The controversy over a Nevada ranchers decades-long use of public land without paying federal grazing fees has quickly become a national issue one that Glenn Beck on Monday urged Americans to fully understand before taking a side on. They dont care what the facts are. They just want a fight. Beck said there are many decent, small-government proponents from groups like the Tea...

and a call to arms: He wants nothing to do with you. Glenn Beck criticized Cliven Bundys comments on race on his radio program Thursday, saying the Nevada rancher is unhinged from reality and urging his supporters to end your relationship with him. Conservative pundit Glenn Beck admitted on his radio show Tuesday that he was wrong and liberals were right for opposing the invasion of Iraq. You cannot force democracy on the Iraqis or anybody else, it doesnt work. They dont understand it or even really want it, Beck said.

Hillary Clinton is doing it. Glenn Beck did it too. And Dick Cheney? Not so much. This is the season for admitting you were wrong on Iraq in 2003. And all Republicans who either regret their vote to authorize the invasion of Iraq, or who were silent on foreign policy matters back then, should take this occasion to step up and say they'll never make the same mistake twice. Beck To Differ: No, Glenn, liberals were never right on Iraq by Daniel Clark Since Glenn Becks June 17th broadcast, liberals have seized on his admission that they were right about Iraq. Its an odd tale of two very ideologically conservative icons coming down on very different sides of the crisis of unaccompanied immigrant children flowing into the United States. Glen Beckâs âcharityâ charade is neither conservative nor, in my opinion, Christian. Â This nationâs charitable impulses have already been exploited beyond belief through decadesâ worth of lax immigration enforcement. Â The most likely outcome of Beckâs âcharityâ act is that it will diminish the rule of law and undermine conservative goals. With his flippant gift-giving, Beck (and his colleagues like Dana Loesch) will make it harder for America to reduce illegal immigration, maintain our sovereignty, and restrain the welfare state. Â How could teddy bears and soccer balls have such an impact? Â The short answer is that giving door prizes to illegal aliens...

Conservatives Republicans and liberal Democrats have dug in their heels on immigration and Glenn Beck has picked his side. But he doesnt think its the winning one. In a wide-ranging interview with The Huffington Post's Howard Fineman, Glenn Beck took the opportunity to again blast conservatives critical of his decision to greet the recent wave of underage illegal immigrants with toys and hot meals. Beck took heat from fellow conservatives for his decision to distribute large amounts of relief supplies through churches and other organizations in McAllen, Texas, to undocumented children caught at the southern border. Sen. Cruz was at his side. Beck's view is that the...

What on earth has gotten into Beck? Is he getting his talking points from Ibrahim Hooper? As Pamela Geller says, "Why would he stigmatize Wilders this way?
