Sen. Rand Paul distanced himself Thursday from Cliven Bundys recent remarks on race, roughly a week after the likely 2016 presidential contender knocked the way the federal government has handled the land dispute with the defiant rancher.
Cliven Bundys remarks on race are offensive and I wholeheartedly disagree with him, Mr. Paul, Kentucky Republican, said via Twitter.

What a bunch of poppy-cock. I bet Bundy is also a right wing conspirator, probably a freemason, might even have kiddy porn hid away in the barn.
If plan A doesn't work...move on to Plan B. Trash the hell outta the man.
Since it was obviously out of context, no one should be handing out an opinion.
Remember the plumber!!
Rand Paul is nor our friend, if he gets sidetracked so easily by a NYT hit piece.
The original statement was as follows:
"Cliven Bundy Wonders If Blacks Are 'Better Off As Slaves' Than On Gov't Assistance"

I don’t like it, but there it is.
To be clear on my posting of that vid link, Im just clarifying that the quote is factual.
Disappointed, I am. Out of context or not, this will be viral in hours.
Bundy's personal views on race or pancakes or anything else have NOTHING to do with this issue.
Joe...what’s his name?
Politics of personal destruction.
The plumber does not even have a Nevada plumber’s license. Gasp!
Answer..
Not much good at all.
Oh and Rand Paul demonstrates why he's not all that.
Great. The list of reasons I will never vote for Rand Paul is growing.
And because they [blacks] were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do? he said, according to The Times. They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And Ive often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didnt get no more freedom. They got less freedom.
Bundy may have wrongly tarred all blacks with the same brush, he is alsolutely correct regarding those who have accepted the role of perpetual child living off the Nanny State. His point about their actual freedom is valid, but never addressed for fear of being labelled a rascist.
If the comments are real Bundy is doing himself no favors, however I have never understood some people’s affinity for Paul. He is not a conservative.
Play the tape, or it didn’t happen.
The new Emmanuel Goldstein.
