Explanation: A spacesuit floated away from the International Space Station eight years ago, but no investigation was conducted. Everyone knew that it pushed by the space station crew. Dubbed Suitsat-1, the unneeded Russian Orlan spacesuit filled mostly with old clothes was fitted with a faint radio transmitter and released to orbit the Earth. The suit circled the Earth twice before its radio signal became unexpectedly weak. Suitsat-1 continued to orbit every 90 minutes until it burned up in the Earth's atmosphere after a few weeks. Pictured above, the lifeless spacesuit was photographed in 2006 just as it drifted away from space station.

Yes..but what a way to go! :-)
Better than just fading away like my bell bottomed blues.
—reminds me of “Space Cowboys” and Tommy Lee Jones floating off into space with pancreatic cancer-—
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?

Wow, send this picture off to the Truthers and they’ll provide you a name for the person in that suit. As if they’ll believe it’s empty.
That’s a pretty expensive garbage pod.
Maybe it was George Clooney. That would be great.
The blurb said that it was an obsolete suit and no longer needed.
One of the worst movies ever made. Every law of physics was ignored.
Yes. But still worth millions to a museum or collector.
As if we didn’t already have enough space junk orbiting the earth already.
I was screaming at the screen throughout the entire movie. You couldn’t be more right. It was a stinkeroo.
LOL! Good thing Bryan and I watched it at home.
Well, it’s ashes now, and you should be lecturing the Russians, not me, Nully!
You listen. That’s more than the Russian government (or for that matter our own government) does!
It burned up a few years ago.
I like listening to you, Nully dear.
