HONOLULU (AP) The pilot of the plane that crashed off Molokai said he broadcast a mayday call once he realized he wouldn't be able to sustain a glide long enough to reach land after his engine lost power. [....] However, NTSB spokesman Eric Weiss has said the agency is not preventing the county from releasing findings from Fuddy's autopsy, which was conducted Friday.

“Maybe a target of opportunity?”
And he killed her how? An injection? A nasal spray? Strangulation? It would be much better to get her in the hospital. She could accidently get a mislabeled and fatal shot of morphine. Your chances of dying in a hospital of an accident are much higher than of dying in a plane crash. No. As Freud said, “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.”
But, if it did turn out to be an uncontestable murder, I could see the Obama regime coming apart as everybody else who knows facts scramble to get them on record so they won’t be killed. That would be an epic meltdown. Yes, I do think their are facts to be had that could bring him down. Otherwise, why would he have spent millions to keep his records sealed. We knew GWB’s penis size. But we don’t have a single college paper or test score from Obama. (5.5” Bent to the left.)
Or a leisurely stroll through Ft. Marcy Park.
Sometimes happens after a plane crash in the ocean.
what’s with the flight roster?
AS someone pointed out, AS A PLAN this would be a very stupid one, with lots of potential things that could go wrong,... but as a TARGET OF OPPORTUNITY it would be perfect
“So is it correct that the pilot is saying she seemed fine AFTER the landing but then....she died later.”
Yes, and her death by natural causes is highly plausible, whether or not the aircraft engine was sabotaged to force the aircraft down at sea.
As discussed in the previous article threads, there is good reason to suspect Fuddy’s physical condition, possible seat belt injuries sustained in the ditching, and mild hypothermia may have resulted in circulatory shock, low blood pressure, unconsciousness and death. Such symptoms would not be immediately apparent as they stepped of the sinking aircraft into the rough seas.
Note, her Deputy Director, Keith Yamamoto, was also aboard the aircraft on this trip. Hypothetically, an attempt to force the aircraft down farter out to sea where the passegers would perish would have resulted in both targets being eliminated.
Thanks much.
It seems to me that light aircraft who operate around water might, if it didn’t weigh too much, have the equivalent of emergency water landing gear that would activate automatically if they had to crash in water.
This would not be what you might typically think. For instance, a common problem is that the plane hits nose first and flips on its back. A system so that it belly lands would be a huge help.
Other things along those lines could save a lot of lives, and if intelligently designed, not at the expense of too much weight or cost.
It's a major reason fish spotters who spend enormous amounts of time over water in single engine aircraft use those with a long loiter time and retractable landing gear. A favorite is the Cessna 172RG and a company here in S. Louisiana has about 20 of them.
If you have to ditch in water, your options are doing so during daylight hours, how close you can get to land or a boat, and wind and wave direction.
I believe the aircraft pictured below is the particular aircraft used. If was the Cessna 208, it doesn't have retractable landing gear.
Right. As soon as the gear touches the water the plane digs in and flips. Best way to do it if you have to is nose high, let the tail drag first slowing the plane then stall into the water at a slower speed. The plane will still flip but not as violently.
Yeah, we had a “crazy” swede as an instructor, and he loved to grind the rear tie-down off. lol
Did it a couple of times myself until my instructor told me to cut it out. The maintenance chief also had a word with me. LOL
The autopsy results remind me of old mafia hit jokes. “He commited suicide by tying his hands behind his back and shot himself in the back of the head three times.”
The coroner could have been in on it, and Obama could be using a double!
Depends on who the killer is.
And a Cessna engine failure 50 days earlier could have been a practice round. The NTSB has had an intact engine to work with, in an airport hangar, and still haven’t said what caused that engine’s failure. These 2 engine failures were within 25 miles of each other and 50 days. In the whole previous 33 years there had only been 2 engine failures with this plane. Within 50 days and 25 miles that number doubled.
The NTSB has not been following their protocols for securing the evidence, in EITHER Cessna crash.
Everyone knows that a Chupacabra brought here by aliens sabotaged the plane. Communists fed the Chupacabra fluoridated water, sapping him of his precious bodily fluids. They then controlled its brain using the MK Ultra protocol. Since Fuddy did not die in the actual crash, CIA agents used HAARP in Alaska to kill her. HAARP is really Nikola Tesla’s death ray.
Otherwise, they would have been much farther from land if the engine was buggered to quit.
That might make landing and/or rescue much more of a problem. No one worried much about the other people on Ron Brown's plane...and this would have been just another tragic accident with all hands lost.
Examination of the engine should be done either way, just for aircraft safety concerns.
I read today, likely on FR, that she was fine after the crash, but when she arrived at the hospital it was discovered that she was dead from a broken neck. Strange things are happening???
“Examination of the engine should be done either way, just for aircraft safety concerns. “
The obvious concern is that the president is eliminating people who could make him look bad. That must be one long list. Frankly, it’s astonishing nobody has come forward so far.
But, buggering an engine leaves too much of a trail. It’s much simpler to make it look like an accident or natural causes. Something low key...an allergic reaction maybe.
Having said that, the NTSB is unlikely to find anything anymore than Hillary Clinton’s blue ribbon Benghazi panel did.
Incidentally, Ron Brown insisted the pilot fly in bad weather. The pilot, under threat of dismissal, filed a protest, but flew anyway. I think Ron Brown was killed by hubris.
From what I saw in previous articles, Fuddy was visiting the sparsely populated island of Molokai to inspect the leprosy colony there, which. pursuant to Hawaii state law, was under her jurisdiction as the head honcho of the state's Department of Health. Her visit was reported as routine.
As to why she was on that particular plane, the intuitive guess is that she didn't really have any other choice but that one airline which flew passengers in that particular Cessna model aircraft between the two Hawaiian islands of Oahu (on which Honolulu, Fuddy's main base, is located) and Molokai. It's a very short flight, about 50 miles.
