RARELY post anything...this is a total vanity, but, I would like some input. We have a customer who has a 14 year old son that got the WRONG Gardasil shot last fall. The clinic where he got the shot notified them 3 months after the fact that he got the FEMALE version, instead of the MALE version, along with 15 other boys (they wanted his parents to bring him back in for the male version...and they refused, I think, luckily). Just in the last month, this kid has had total pancreatic failure, and now must take insulin shots, and monitor his blood sugar before EVERY meal, for the REST of his life. I can't help but think this is related to the Gardasil. I've done some googling, but can't really find anything out there. Does anyone out there in Freeper-land have any experience in this, and can clue me in? I just feel horrible for our customer and his kid, and as soon as I heard the words 'Gardasil' and 'mistake', red flags went up BIGTIME!! Thanks FREEPERS!
The pancreas does not need to completely fail to cause diabetes, only the area called “The Islets of Langerhans”.
Gardasil is given to both males and females. The female-only version of the vaccine is called Cervarix.
I reckon you must HATE the 10th amendment and don't understand STATES rights. Or you just don't have a heart.

Cervarix is another HPV vaccine *brand.* It is not a “female only version.”
2. Noticed some report a few days ago about young people getting type II diabetes and not responding to treatment.
Wow, wonder what went wrong here? /S
Prayers for the kid and his family.
My wife deals with this as well. Sometimes her pancreas will “wake up” just long enough to send her sugars to the basement. She is also a brittle diabetic. It means she can swing 50+ points very quickly.
She is also starting to have stomach problems with processing much of anything. Takes a drug store to keep things working properly in her stomach. But even then there are days where nothing works and things kinda back up in there.
My wife ended up with type 1 during a hospital stay. She went in for surgery on her ankle. They suspect they gave her to many steroids and that is what triggered the onset.
Regardless today she lives with a accucheck pump, dexcom blood sugar monitor and a very limited diet.

Both vaccines contain adjuvants. I won’t give my cats vaccines that have adjuvants, so I can’t imagine giving a human child ANY vaccine whatsoever that contains adjuvants. (It’s well known that cat vaccines with adjuvants are causing an epidemic of hyperthyroidism and injection-site carcinomas.)
why the hell should a 14 yro girl get this injection?....
A lot of girls have life long problems from Gardasil, and some are dead.
Do. Not. Vaccinate. Your kids with this.
Because our Western Civilization is crashing around us?
Yeah, VAERS is really your best source of vaccine information. The gardasil vaccine is seriously bad news.
So you figure your boys will be at risk for anal cancer??? This young MAN unless homosexual has no need for gardasil.
Frankly the truth is that annual pap smears and monogamy in a relationship will do more to protect from cervical cancer than anything else. If you think that gardasil is a good vaccine you ought to do a bit more research about it’s effectiveness and what exactly it protects against. Truth is people have been sold a bill of goods on this one.....kind of like the hep B vaccine.
But you seem to be describing type I diabetes which is thought to be an autoimmune reaction to a virus.
This British study shows no increase in the rate of type I diabetes or other autoimmune problems link
the vaccine is a good one, especially since we docs have seen an epidemic of promiscuity associated cervical cancer since I started medicine in the 1960's...alas, even if your daughter is a virgin there is no guarantee she will marry a virgin, and of course date rape is too commmon...which is why Focus on the Family recommends it for girls.
Boys getting a girls' dose shouldn't be a problem...
there is a lot of vaccine hysteria out there, mostly by folks who aren't old enough to remember what the actual diseases looked like. It seems to be more similar to the "witch hysteria" of the 1500's or the anti communist hysteria of the 1920's; a real problem but blown way out of proportion to the extent that the hysteria damage is much worse than the worry itself.
I've worked in Africa and we saw all of them, which is why I'm pro vaccine.
young people are getting type II diabetes because they are too fat. Period.
Type I diabetes is probably from a virus that makes the body produce immune reactions against the part of the pancreas that produces insulin.
Personally, I think pollution and plastic and modern fatty foods are behind the obesity epidemic that has even hit us here in the Philippines. On the other hand, the alternative of living a “natural” life can be overblown. As my husband reminds me: You are only poor if you are hungry, and he remembers the good old days when there wasn’t enough food.
My wife ended up with type 1 during a hospital stay. She went in for surgery on her ankle. They suspect they gave her to many steroids and that is what triggered the onset_______________________________________________________My husband was treated with steroids for a medical condition and developed diabetes. The doctor said “we were afraid this would happen” but we were not warned about the possibility.
If you have any family history of diabetes and will be taking steroids, know that they can kick off diabetes in you too.
sometimes vaccines can cause a fatal hemorrhagic
pancreatitis...usually soon after the vaccine is given
check this article about gardisil and pancreatitis

Juvie diabetes is thought to be caused by viruses.
