Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has received new documents from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), detailing reports of adverse reactions to the vaccination for human papillomavirus (HPV), Gardasil. The adverse reaction reports detail 26 new deaths reported between September 1, 2010 and September 15, 2011 as well as incidents of seizures, paralysis, blindness, PANCREATITIS , speech problems, short term memory loss and Guillain-Barré Syndrome. The documents come from the FDA’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) which is used by the FDA to monitor the safety of vaccines. The documents were obtained pursuant to a September 15, 2011 FOIA request for reports made from September 1, 2010 through September 15, 2011.

Gardasil can protect against 90% of genital warts cases for males.
Generally speaking, male genitalia are not found in their anuses. I would recommend a good read on human anatomy so you can learn where male genitalia are, I wasn’t aware that you had no idea where male genitals are found. Sometimes I make assumptions about the information my readers have on tap from which they can form their arguments.
If you marry a woman who has not kept her chastity, and then have sex with her, and you do not have the HPV vaccine, you have great potential for genetial warts, if her last partner had HPV.
Several years ago, we had our daughter vaccinated with Gardacil after discussing it with her physician and several physician friends of ours who also have daughters of the same age. But the decision was not at all obvious, given the known side effects of this vaccine, the fact that HPV is ubiquitous in the population, and the fact that cervical cancer is very rare.
As for giving the vaccine to boys, I would have to know more about the prevalence of HPV-related cancers in men. I suspect, but do not know, that it is lower than the prevalence of HPV-related cancers in women.
The docs I know ( who happen to specialize in the treatment) do not and have not for years.

Interestingly enough it is the Merck website that promotes Gardasil for men to prevent anal cancers... and for those active in the homosexual community I would think that might be something they would consider.

Cervarix is for females only. Read the package insert.
You’re correct in that the FDA hasn’t approved Cervarix for boys, but that will most likely happen soon. I can’t imagine that it would be called “the girl’s vaccine” by any medical professional and I’m fairly certain that the result wouldn’t be an immediate re-vaccination with Gardasil.
I did not disagree with your comment. I was quoting from the Merck literature (also on their website) as to one of the reasons for using Gardasil for men.
You obviously believe Merck’s data. Fine. Since most of the clinical trials were run on women and not men I guess you have a slightly tougher row to hoe.

My son’s pediatrician calls it juvenile diabetes and type 1.
They use both. In fact she specializes in kids with diabetes.

That is the direct quote from the Merck circular that addresses the uses and limitations of Gardasil.
If your son’d doc is a pediatrician she is most definitely NOT an endocrinologist those are the specialists in the area. Yes I agree some docs do still use the term but it is not accurate and fell out of favor long ago whih is why you hear the terms Type 1 and insulin dependent.
But I think we strain mightily at a gnat’s eyelash.
Those with diabetes who need to take insulin shots to balance their sugars have challenges but they can lead full and wonderful lives.

“My daughter developed type 1 diabetes AND antibodies against her thyroid in the months after receiving her last Gardasil vaccination. I have always suspected Gardasil as we have NO HISTORY of either of these diseases on EITHER side of the family. When I read at the end of this article that Merck (the maker of Gardasil) financed the study, my blood went cold.”

“I received the shot in December of 2008 at the insistance of my family doctor. I was well outside the recomended age range at 29, but allowed myself to be badgered into it. By Febuary of 2009 I had developed full blown Type 1 diabetes. I had just had a full physical in November that included blood work and thus knew I was not diabetic or even pre-diabetic before the shot. Our family had never had a case of diabetes on either side. My heart goes out to everyone whose lives have been destroyed by Merck.”

I’m not ‘perpatrating’ anything. I asked a simple question of freepers based on info received from my customer about what happened to his son. How is that ‘perpatrating’ a lie? I know NOTHING about Gardasil, and knew I’d get good answers (pro and con) from Freepers.
