Japanese researchers at Mebiol have discovered an innovative new way to grow plants and crops. Substituting traditional soils with ultra thin films made of hydrogel, the scientists have been able to successfully block out unwanted bacteria and viruses in soil that can be harmful for plants. Essentially removing dirt from the equation, plant roots grow alongside the thin membrane of the hydrogel, a substance that is commonly found in diapers.
The method isn't exactly a perfect replacement to traditional growing methods, since water is absorbed at a much slower rate.

A Japanese scientist claims to be able to turn poop into a meat substitute. More precisely, he said he says he can turn sewage mud into a meat substitute.

You failed to mention Japan’s bizarre “fecal fixation.” That’s all I’m gonna say on the matter. Google it if you want to know more.
I think I will refrain from looking—I’ve seen enough in my day and I just ate....but that is my point—homosexuality among the Samurai was fixation on fecal matter...and their rampant pederasty meant it would be manifested in the boys when they grew up. Fecal fixation was created by sexually abusing young boys...which disturbs natural sexual development in an unnatural way where maturation—into heterosexual mature love—can never occur.
Homosexual societies always revile women and their use. Women in those cultures are second class citizens at best. Pederasty is always a major part of homosexuality because it is a learned (fixated) behavior. Sexual identity is disturbed in the formative years and the desire to recreate the original feelings has to include boys.
The opposite is the Christian paradigm which had destroyed the worldview that homosexuality is normal (along with psychology and Natural Law Theory). Homosexuality was rampant in most societies (Columbus even noted it in the New World) but it was Judeo/Christian ethics that changed Western ideas of what is good and evil. It is why those two religions are the most persecuted....they dared to condemn a popular activity of pagans and islam —that of men and boys.
You can recognize people who have this homosexual fixation and worldview....they mostly loath healthy, intelligent women who produce children.....someone like Sarah Palin, a woman who can hang onto the handsome male—is not divorced or a single mom. Christian morality makes them cringe like the cockroaches they are.
They truly know in their “soul” how vile and loathsome they are—their literal acts demean and defile the very bodies God created—and the truth can never be denied, particularly while abusing boys. They can’t fixate on the “good”—it has to be a “fecal fixation” to validate themselves.
