Prayer Request for Freeper "SandRat"

Please pray for Freeper SandRat who took a fall from his roof today.

FR "DesertCoyote" posted this on the Canteen thread tonight...

I just wanted to let you guys know that SandRat is in the hospital. He fell off the roof changing out the pads in the swamp cooler and lost his footing and fell about 4-5 feet. Apparently he was unconscious for a while and when he woke up, he drove himself to the hospital. He has 8 broken ribs and a concussion. He is being transferred up to University Medical Center in Tucson for a Neurology evaluation. Will keep you guys posted since this is a specific request from Sandrat.

First, I have to yell at you for getting up and driving yourself to the hospital with busted ribs AND a concussion.
You could have blacked out, had a mental fugue state due to the head injury while driving, had ribs poke through vital stuff etc.
Yelling done, HEAL UP QUICKLY!
And please don’t be injured any further than what I last heard...please?

Continuing Orthodox Christian prayers for Freeper SandRat!

I grew up in Arizona, and remember those ol’ swamp coolers, and the need to change the pads every Spring. As well as the need (or desire) to take a vacation in August when the swamp coolers didn’t work (but air conditioning does).

The most I drove myself in with was two broken ribs. My hat’s off - you’re a tough cookie SandRat. I have a feeling you’ll be back on your feet soon. I won’t tell anybody you got a corset on. (Mine wasn’t designer, but it sure made breathing easier, which, after a week or so, I figured was highly underrated.)

Praying for ya, and wishing you the best, and oh, btw, central A/C doesn’t rust stuff in yer safe as much as swampers do, at least that’s what I hear... since, you know, the boating issue.
