Heard a reference to this site on Glenn Beck's radio show today.
Seems like a good idea.
Sales benefit me not-at-all.

Ha! Thanks for the post.
Heard this guy as well. Very hesitant to plug his site. Glenn had to drag it out of him. I like that. And I think my wife and I will like his product! :)
BTTT!

All that comes to mind is the Monty Python sketch about storage jars. You had to be there.

You just might check recent legislation to find out whether it is still legal to can. You might just end up in Leavenworth for “Intent to can peach preserves”.
Word to the wise.

As a home canner, I’m a little leery, I prefer new and sterilized.

It’s easy if you use a pressure cooker. May have to try these lids! The hardest part is preparing the vegetables you are going to can.

Thanks, I’m willing to give them a try. I really hate throwing away the lids but I’m hesitant to reuse them - don’t want to deal with spoilage or no seal.

I’ve canned for 4 years now and my family likes my home canned veggies and fruits so much better than store bought! There is just no comparison.
I may have to check out these lids too.

I always keep some used lids around. I use them on jars that I put my bulk yeast and other items I plan on keeping in the fridge - like a half can of crushed pineapple etc.

Looks like jar rubber seals are replaceable and not reused.
