Do not worry many of the responders on this thread haven’t even figured out that Islam is not a religion. It is a cult.
You and I can agree on that, FRiend, but the adherents of islam and the US govt view it as a religion for legal purposes. That's where the trouble starts.

Allowing Muslims into the US Military is not worth the risk.
Of course it is a big deal. Islam is a religion of war, extortion and rape. It should of never been granted religion status in the first place, and deserves as much respect as Nazism does.

Did it ever occur to you that the Constitution is not a suicide pact? Granting Islam religion status was a huge mistake.

I can’t agree. It would be like saying that after Jonathan Pollard no Jews should be allowed into the military or security service. In my career I taught a lot of Muslim kids and met their immigrant parents. They had, for the most part, the same attitudes and concerns of most kids and parents and the parents came here to have something better than what they left behind. We should be alert but I don’t think we should condemn 3 million people in the US toa life in the shadows.

The points I nailed down demonstrated the impossibility of there having EVER been a Mosque in the Pentagon ~ hence, a phony story.
I was so glad this site was still going; I was so tired last night I couldn’t get my mind to figure out what to type.
Because of an experience quite a while back (got myself linked back to a Muslim blog site) this post by catsup from Salon (creepy outfit) gave my brain such a knee jerk response…..I thought, “Hey! All Mohammedans need is a mat and a compass to point them in the direction of Mecca (no longer Jerusalem).”
Of course I know that Muslims do not like to be called Mohammedans. I found this out when I was on a site and asked a very polite question. I was politely shown the door with a link to a Wiki competitor for a short education. I went to the site, read, and then sent a comment in my most sincere words that I understood. They are just ashamed of Mohammad. And after reading some of his work I would be too. I told them that in our country we have Mormons.
I encouraged them to return to Ishmael and to return to the teachings of Moses. One of these days the blinders are going to come off and Judah my brother in Israel (formerly Jacob) will know me and I will know him. So why don’t you boys come on over and get on the winning team.
I then recognized that some of their folks were wound a little tight so if I seemed to step on any toes just chalk one over in the infidel column and please not come and blow up my house.
Jews are not on a worldwide movement trying to subjugate all under religious laws, and comparing one Jew to what Muslims are doing across the world is ridiculous. Muslims also lie like there is no tomorrow. Do you see any US Muslim movement against the Sharia movement? I don’t.
Trusting Muslims has worked out so well for India, and Europe. So we might as well follow their policies...
We are toast now. If laws do not change in regards to Islam, it is just a matter of time until they takeover. As they will never stop pushing.

I was the FIRST to point that out on this thread.
His friends will in every instance be directly opposed to and appalled by my posts.
PC laid the groundwork for the Ground Zero Mosque.
Three short points to back up my FRiend FF:
1. The Ground Zero mosque is a problem not so much because it is a mosque, but because this effort to "build bridges" is lead by a guy who blames us for 9/11 (saying only 19 days after the attack that we were "accessories" to the attack and Osama was "made in America"), has no problem with Hamas, has denigrated the idea of religious freedom in foreign language publications and appears to follow the practice Islamists have of building mosques on the site of Islamic victories. It is not a place of worship, it is the radical side of Islam giving us the finger.
2. Even if this mosque was well-intentioned as its backers claim, comparing the two is silly because the people who worship there (the Pentagon mosque) are the exact sort of people bin-Laden intended to kill with the Pentagon attack. They don't need to build a bridge, they already love America and live in peace with Christians and Jews. One also wonders if a space provided by an employer to fit a need for loyal employees and a facility built despite warnings from thousands of peaceful and tolerant people that it is throwing salt in a very deep wound could be much more different.
3. Liberals want to have it both ways, and so do you, catsup. They want to call us intolerant because we oppose the Cordoba Group giving the 9/11 families the finger with their mosque, but they tell us we're hypocrites unless we tell Muslim military officers they can't pray in their workplace. What an enormous load of horse pucky.
Oh...and I'm pretty sure I'm IBTZ.
