The new United Nations Treaty is being designed to disarm all citizens of every nation on Earth. The treaty will give all governments a free hand to do as they please. It is making headway in Washington D.C. and it is feared that President Obama may very well try to use the treaty to consolidate his power in America. The treaty specifics are now being negotiated and Obama has given the OK For the U.S. to be a part of the negotiations.

They all need to be defeated in November.

And if they're not defeated, physically removed - one way or another. We'll let them pick which way.

The same America where gun owners aren’t organized and think it’s AOK to violate the 2nd amendment a little here and there if it keeps guns out of the “wrong” hands. That it’s OK to ban certain types of firearms as long as their bolt action rifle / O/U shotgun, etc. is not on the list. The same America that applauds when militia members are arrested without looking into the “facts” of the allegations.

Are worst enemies are so called pro 2nd amend types that try to compromise with the leftist aka progressive gun haters. These are the so called pro 2nd amend type idiots that think banning these guns will save the guns they like. These are the ones that defend every gun control law on the books. All in the name of appeasement.

No matter what anyone tells you, a treaty cannot be used to supersede the Constitution. Not that the Rats give a damned about the Constitution.

Even if it is the law of the land, it cannot supersede the Constitution. Rights are independent of the Constitution. Besides, there wouldn’t be enough SS to protect every member of Congress who voted for this treaty.

I agree. The reason I said it could pass the Senate is I beleive it’s gotten to the point where there are actual death threats against families. From now on we’ll see “token” resistence...for public consumption. I hope I’m wrong.

a treaty can't override the constitution.

Spoil sport. We were just getting our collective knickers in a good bunch and then you come along getting all constitutional on us. What a buzz kill!

Easy: citizens will bend over and take it, as they have been doing since the National Firearms Act was passed in 1934.

The polpulace of Switzerland and Israel are all armed. Will they be included in the ban?

Check your Constitution, The Senate must ratify all treaties.

Congress has passed laws authorizing the President to conclude executive agreements without action by the Senate.

According to what authority?

Sad to say, check your Supreme Court. They recently decided a case imposing an international law/treaty signed by a president and not approved by Congress. Wish I could remember more about that case for you.

Anyone remember?

“Besides, the only way a revolution could be fought again is through the use of explosives. Those that do use explosives are derided by even 2nd amendment advocates. Revolution requires offensive strikes, not just hiding a gun in your attic insulation “just in case.””

I hate to break it to you but explosives can be made, and are in fact rather common. If you mean nuclear explosives, I’m not sure why we would need them but if we did, they could be captured.

In any-case an American revolution would require taking control of the State Government’s and using them to wage war. Without them there is no war or victory.

We must secure control of as many state governments as possible that is priority #1 no matter what we do, revolution or not we will need them more then anything else.

Unfortunately, most will not prepare until the welfare zombies are clawing at their door seeking food and ‘stuff’.

The best plan is the one you don’t have to use. Prepare and plan for the worst and pray for the best. The worst thing that can happen is you end up with a nice gun collection with lots of ammo and a good supply of food and silver/gold. Sounds good to me.
