I believe a lot of folks think that such an event would necessarily mean some kind of "set piece" battle or series of skirmishes. In fact, nothing of the sort is necssary, likely nor has a chance to be successful.

I don't think it would be that way at all.

The thing is, it would only take the elimination of a relatively few "enemies" to bring about some pretty significant change.

Suitable perimeters cannot be maintained around all potential targets indefinitely, and the number of armed folks who would just keep their mouths shut and wait for, or create an opportunity to strike is just too large. Politicians of every variety, non-elected bureaucrats, mainstream media whores, and families thereof just could not be guaranteed protection, and there would be a lot of very pissed-off, very creative folks out there.

If a people were inclined to attempt to change the opinions of the government I would think that simply shutting it down would suffice. Simply stop traffic on every road within a mile or so of every federal building. Might want to include local LEO’s, just in case. Violence would be best avoided, until it is brought upon the people, by a tyrannical government. Just a thought.
