I’m not so sure it counts as a phobia, but I have a seething, white hot hatred of communists.

There are good reasons for rational fear of several of these on the list, however. Some of them can kill you if you aren’t careful. Usually the ones that can have some venom in them.

Isn’t a phobia an irrational fear? Every one of those things involve pain or danger of one sort or another.

Interesting factoid (or maybe just an urban legend) for those suffering from arachnophobia: You are never more than six feet away from a spider.

there's a big difference in an healthy respect of a full sized anaconda or rattler and having a full blown panic attack around a little ribbonback.

I rode bulls while in high school. Got in a fight with a bunch of Harley riders when I was the only one riding a crotchrocket. Have gotten shot and stabbed. Have brought a knife to a gunfight twice and came out on the winning end. Have skydived a few times and scuba dive every summer. Have a horse that I broke myself. But one thing that throws me into an underwear wetting, pants filling panic is...chickens! Jeez! I am terrified of those things.

Fear of being burned alive.
Fear of having to pay for healthcare whether you want to or not.
Fear of losing American and being pretty much powerless to stop it.
