"The natural born citizenship requirement in Article II of the United States Constitution, has been called "the stupidest provision" in the Constitution...
So writes Sarah Herlihey in 2006, an associate attorney specializing in litigation at the Chicago law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kirkland law partner Bruce I. Ettelson was a Former Member of finance committees of U.S. Senator Barack Obama. Floating the idea of "repealing" (which cannot be done) the natural born citizenship requirement, she "acts stupidly" in insisting that it's "racist" to not consider an alien for the presidential slot.
Sounds like a really good plan to me.
Where it would go after that is anyone's guess.
Thanks capacommie.

Anyone who is not treated the way a liberal thinks they should be treated is of a certain race. In this case, all aliens are of the alien race.
The author has it backwards. Globalization makes an NBC requirement MORE necessary, not less. Way too many people from other places. Arnold can always be Secretary of State.
parsy, who don’t want Madeline Albright as president.
Well well, if 0bama is a natural born citizen, why all this hubbub? Ah he has something to hide, yayoubetch.
Here is my pipe dream.....
the conservatives clean house and senate in Nov and then start impeachment procedures...we get rid of this guy and put him in jail..
if these idiots out here in flyover country don’t see this, there is no hope..
0bama is listening to his own ideology, he is determined to “transform” America and the citizens be damned..he has no thought to being a one term Resident.no he intends to be the permanent Resident in the WH..as king or dictator...
I detest what this creep is doing to the nation
I agree, why else would this even come up as a thought? This part of the constitution is not an amendment so it cannot be repealed thank god almighty!
That is becoming increasingly apparent, isn't it?
When do we start to see these Obongo Tshirts on the street?:
This isn’t surprising. This whole crowd pays no attention to the Constitution and now they will just go back and change the law to justify ozero being in the white hut.
They can and they should have done so when Dick Cheney presided over the certification of the electoral votes in Early Jan. 2009. However, Cheney violated procedure and failed (or refused) to ask for objections to the count.

There are a whole lot of people to point fingers at BEFORE you get to Cheney. Harry Reid,DNC Chariman, and Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House for starters. Then every SOS, Secretary of State in the nation for not vetting Obama properly. Each of these people and their lack of doing their jobs properly propelled this along until Cheney had the electoral votes counted and announced the winner without asking for objections from each state. He did not ask the question, yet spoke to each state submitting electoral votes, they made no statements, so perhaps they had nothing to say, or did not know they could object, if so, they do not know what their job is, but he should have asked for objections...and Kersher vs. Obama took him to task for it.
There is lots of blame to go around, but lets put it where it belongs. Obama is a Constitutional Scholar from harvard, he KNEW he was not qualified, yet ran anyway, and accepted when he won the election. He committed fraud against the nation he swore to defend, and uphold the constitution he just flipped off....
Agreed; Cheney's transgression was slight in comparison with others. However, Cheney was he last defense of the Constitution in the process and he was either asleep at his post or purposely looking the other way. He gets no pass from me and neither does Ron Paul. Supposedly the Constitution's best Rep. in Congress refused to make an objection because he was afraid he'd be laughed out of Congress.
I wonder how Cheney and RP feel about their complicity today? A simple public statement of remorse could make all the difference in the world, don't you think?
I do not see why Ron Paul TODAY could not question Obama’s qualifications? Public ridicule, actually, congressional ridicule is being avoided, but I would be willing to bet that if Paul took it to the people before doing so, he would have ovewhelming support. Take it to the People first, then start proceedings. What do you think?
I think I like your thinking, etraveler13. Now all we have to do is persuade Dr. Paul to give the issue due consideration. ; )
Have you seen the excellent TX election fraud complaint from jbjd and ericathunderpaws?:
