TORONTO - There are still no leads in the case of an eastern Ontario scientist who disappeared without a trace last month, leaving his colleagues mystified. Lachlan Cranswick hasn't been seen since Jan. 18, when he left work at the National Research Council's Canadian Neutron Beam Centre in Chalk River, northwest of Ottawa.
His nearby Deep River house was reportedly left unlocked and his car was in the garage. His wallet, keys and passport have all been accounted for......

I find it odd that someone would fly across the world to take care someone elses personal affairs and their home. Who does that until someone is incapacited, missing, or completely incompetent.
Yet another missing scientist or one who died mysteriously.
One more scientist involved in a nuclear program disappers without a trace... somethng is going on...

Ruggled terrain outside of town center [4,000], however. Can rotate to see all homes. No one saw anything? It's not remote, the residence. Perhaps left not on foot.
I think that the article means that his brother flew in to take care of things AFTER brother went missing.

"Nemo me impune lacessit" literally means "No-one who attacks is unpunished by me", ("me" being the royal "me", ie the state.) In modern English I suppose we'd say that "No-one who wages war shall remain unpunished".......
