Candidate Barack Obama is back on the campaign trail today in Elyria, Ohio for a townhall meeting on jobs. The "uhs" and "and, and, ands" that he overcame as President Obama are back and so is the "Great Healer" persona. Don't worry America. He's gonna Barack your world! Hope and change are coming ... again.
"This is not about me! This is not about me! This is not about me! This is about you!" He shouts to the adoration of the applauding crowd. Candidate Obama reminds the people of Ohio that he ran for president to fix all of their problems once and for all. (The Great Healer.)
His political advisors told him that healthcare reform "might not be such a smart idea" given the two wars and the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression, but he didn't listen to those naysayers. He knows that the people need healthcare reform because they've lost their jobs and their COBRA insurance has run out. (Bush's fault.) Their insurance premiums and out-of-pocket expenses have doubled and tripled. They need healthcare reform.
It's the Congressional process that has denied the people the healthcare reform that they need. (Under the bus go Pelosi and Reid.) The process is long and complex. The lobbyists and special interests from the insurance companies and big pharma are fighting the process. But they've come a long way, despite the "little bit of a buzzsaw this week." (Brown's election.)
Now everyone in Washington is "in a tizzy." Democrats and Republicans. Political analysts. "Is Obama gonna survive this? Is he weakened?" They ask. Well, "that's what they do." He'll take his lumps to get healthcare reform for the people because they need it. If he were doing this for high poll ratings, he'd "just do nothing." That's how you get high poll ratings. Do nothing. (He's right about that. Candidate Obama had extremely high poll ratings for doing absolutely nothing, ever.)
But America, don't get the impression that he isn't focused on jobs because that's all he does. Think about how to create more jobs. Because this is not about him, it's about you. (Right.)
Candidate Obama is back to tell us what we need! And what we need is healthcare reform. (So, go back to sleep, America.)
He’s gonna fight and fight and fight and fight.
The only reason he’s there is because the Pro-Life march is happening on his front lawn.
I want to see the real president...the teleprompter.
He really sounds wee wee’d up today.
Speaking in that negro dialect......
In another year, he'll be giving speeches in the White House bowling alley.
Obama needs to show results not just talk. Thankfully for us all he knows how to do well is talk. He doesn’t even realize that he is overexposed. He is the gift that will keep on giving till election day.
As he played it I wondered what the sounds would have been from a randomly selected audience. This audience sounded as phony to me as those sitcom laugh tracks do. I sure wouldn't have been applauding.

Drop’n his ing’s like crazy.
Just like in the often-used breakup line "It's not you, it's me," the reverse is actually true.
This is all about Obama.
The left used to say, "the personal IS political." With Obama, it is "the political is personal."
Mmm, mmm, mmm! Barack Hussein Obama!
Where’s Joe the Plumber when you need him? I bet he’d get a better reception than our President.
Mmm, mmm, mmm. Indeed. I wish I’d thought of that. :)
He did that ridiculous parental/schoolteacher boy-girl-boy-girl routine for taking questions. It was sickening.
He tried going to that factory where he made that 07 campaign stump stop promising new jobs but couldn’t get in.. The place was closed and out of business.

Just wait until the State of the Union, where instead of anything of substance, Obama gives us his usual campaign/"I inherited this crisis" speech.
The country is most certainly no longer in the mood for that BS, especially if the market continues to tank. The state of the Union could be the end of his presidency. Even his Leftest friends in the press will abandon him.
... and don’t forget fight. :)
Probably so. How many people were there today?
