I am sorry viking. The roughest days for families are when a member leaves for heaven. I will pray for you and your wife and the rest of your family. May God wrap all of you in His complete love.

Thank you. My wife has the best outlook on this - they lost her father in 1983, and Sadie never remarried. Not only will they now be next to each other in the memorial garden, they'll now be in Heaven together forever, the way she wanted it. Bully, I say.

Sad, very sad. We lost our matriarch in 1990 to breast cancer. A truly lovely lady. We miss her so much.

I pray your wife and her family will carry forward Sadie’s spirit, and continue the close binds that she forged for them. Viking, I am so sorry your family has suffered this loss. Cancer is so cruel. Two years ago my youngest uncle (54) passed away from gall bladder cancer that spread agressively. By the time they found the trouble, he was nearly at stage 4.
A few of my favorite sciptures to help you and yours...
Matthew 26:13 “What this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”
Psalm 33:17 “Your eyes will see the King in His beauty and the highland of Heaven far away.”
2 Corinthians 5:8 “Sorrow not as them who have no hope, for we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord.”
