More than eight months after Barack Obama was elected president, the mystery surrounding his precise birthplace is deepening as the myth-busting website Snopes.com – along with several news agencies and an Obama community blog – directly contradict the president's own claim regarding the hospital in which he was born.
In an official letter signed by Obama on White House stationery, the president celebrates his birth at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu, Hawaii. The facility has posted that letter on its website, along with video of the letter being read in public.
But according to Snopes, the popular online hoax-buster that many rely on as the final word on both important and frivolous stories, Obama was born at a different hospital in the Hawaiian capital.
In Snopes' entry concerning allegations that Obama is a "radical Muslim," the site addresses the birth history of the commander in chief, stating, "Barack Hussein Obama was born on 4 August 1961 at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii."
WND took a screen shot of the entry and highlighted the name of the hospital.

Eh. We’re talking about a President who can’t remember where he met his wife, either.
But, as a practical matter, it's been much more than $500K. Many of the Obama attorneys that have worked on this case, by their own admission, have done so on a pro bono basis. If they were tally and invoice Obama for their billable hours, I'm sure that number would double, perhaps even triple or more.
I've thought that so many times, in reaction to so many things, since Obama was elected. It's pretty much become my motto for this administration.

please... the boy can't even remember where he met his wife, how could you expect him to remember where he was born???
Keep in mind, in November 2004, Obama had JUST won election as a US Senator when this newsletter went to print -- Obama wasn't even sworn in as a US Senator until January 2005 -- when this story ran in the "Rainbow Edition" touting him as a presidential hopeful in 2008.
Obama is gaining more and more support across the country and it is believed that he could run for president as soon as 2008. Lefties place a very high value on oratory--totally out of proportion to its worth. Why is that?
Is it because the agenda has long been decided and all that is required is a effective spokesman. I've always thought it was rather curious how much stock they put into this or that speech as opposed to a person's record of achievement.

Possibly true, and if so then Obama might be vulnerable to blackmail. It is one of the reasons why the press, not to mention the Supreme Court, should have been demanded the release of Obama's long-form birth certificate long before Obama was sworn in.
At this point Obama could rob a bank at gunpoint without wearing a disguise, and the MSM wouldn't cover the story.
I know where he was born. He was born on the grassy knoll in a creche on Chanukah which fell on Kwanzaa that year during Ramadan. His Mom was white and his Dad was black and his Grandmother is gone.
But none of this matters because he’s here now and he won and he smokes cigarettes sometimes but raises their taxes and signs it into law.
Maybe instead of the “Queens Medical Center” he was born in the “Medical Center for Queens”.
We should find out what Barney Frank was up to back then.

Obama was also born at the Coast Provincial General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya according to grandmother. That’s 3 hospitals where Obama was born. His family needs to get together on the story.
