Obama was being groomed to be the POTUS early on, as reflected in THIS November 2004 where his sister Maya was interviewed. Maya was the source -- their mom died nine years before.
Keep in mind, in November 2004, Obama had JUST won election as a US Senator when this newsletter went to print -- Obama wasn't even sworn in as a US Senator until January 2005 -- when this story ran in the "Rainbow Edition" touting him as a presidential hopeful in 2008.
Obama is gaining more and more support across the country and it is believed that he could run for president as soon as 2008.
