WASHINGTON A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats. The report, titled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," dated April 7, states that "threats from white supremacist and violent anti-government groups during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts." However, the report goes on to suggest worsening economic woes, potential new legislative restrictions on firearms and "the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks."

I thought this a serious enough event to inform my senator of, and I would urge others to do so as well.
Don’t worry about that, we are there. We will be one of the first to be rounded up.
(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that lone wolves and small terrorist cells embracing violent rightwing extremist ideology are the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States. Information from law enforcement and nongovernmental organizations indicates lone wolves and small terrorist cells have shown intentand, in some cases, the capabilityto commit violent acts.
(U//LES) DHS/I&A has concluded that white supremacist lone wolves pose the most significant domestic terrorist threat because of their low profile and autonomyseparate from any formalized groupwhich hampers warning efforts.
(U//FOUO) Similarly, recent state and municipal law enforcement reporting has warned of the dangers of rightwing extremists embracing the tactics of leaderless resistance and of lone wolves carrying out acts of violence.
(U//FOUO) Arrests in the past several years of radical militia members in Alabama, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania on firearms, explosives, and other related violations indicates the emergence of small, well-armed extremist groups in some rural areas.
Looks like they are on to us! Maybe the Boy Scouts would provide a good cover.
And if the document is a fake??
That's NOT how they're selling it to the law enforcement community. Trust me - we're the Joos in pre Hitler Germany in their minds - and they have yet to show proof of any organized crime. (As I said McVeigh was a criminal - just like Ayers. But Ayers isn't used to discredit everyday dems - think about it) AND NO - going to tea parties is NOT A CRIME.
The “Ayers” of 1968 ARE the DNC of today.
They are also the anchors of the nightly news.
The rioters outside AND inside the DNC convention of 1968 are the establishment Left of today.
Look at John Kerry, Thomas Hayden, and others. From agitators to politicians.
Uh-oh...we’re on a DHS Watchlist...Ping!
When this idiot was elected, I thought:
1) He would be detered from radical action due to the lack of landslide vote
2) He would proceed cautiously in order to prevent a backlash from the voters.
I am now convinced this is the most dangerour administration to ever sit in Washington and that it is led by a man who is either a radical doctrinaire socialist, or an anti-American “plant”, funded and supported by people from outside this nation.
He is moving as quickly as possible to implement his socialist agenda to forstall any possible opposition in COngress or by the electorate once America realizes what they have in store for us.
I forsee curtailment of freedom of speech on television and radio and supression of Intnernet blogs and forums like this one, as well as total confiscation of all weapons from the public.
In 2008 I believe the American public elected a man as President who has no intention of ever leaving office.
Essentially, once "race" becomes part of the equation, all bets are off - you're now in forbidden territory. Any limitations will always be examined in the light of "civil rights".
So we have to ask Ms. Napolitano - if an invading force were to come into the United States, would it be illegal to resist if they were non-white?
In other words, is invasion now a civil right for non-whites, since to resist them would be discrimination?
Are the borders themselves then un-Constitutional?
That's where the authors of this are going.
Cool!!!!!! I figured it would take a year or so...
Just proving that the left has no respect for the military. Of course the military, as all groups do has a few bad apples, but to single out former military as a group for attention is insane. The same is true of the other groups listed though. The left fears that which it doesn't understand and that is why this list was compiled to begin with.
The widespread bad attitude I see against our military from the left and even some on the right makes me angry. When I was a child I didn't know any family that didn't at least have some members that had served and it was extremely rare for a politician of any level to not have served. Now I notice certain families have many members that have or are serving and many more do not have anyone in the family that has served and fewer politicians have served. It is not a good thing for the country and I think it has a lot to do with the direction we are heading.
Anyone who served in the military in a combat capability, McCain voters, gun owners, Ron Paul supporters, former SPECops, Pro life activists, anti-tax people, and people who watched “Red Dawn” and like Ronald Reagan are dangerous to the current Administration. This is nuts.
This can't be real...
Great idea that Patriot Act, wasn’t it.
See you all in the camps.
Reichstag fire anyone? The left now runs the government are are setting up the situation to blow out of proportion a few real incidents or a real one they or ACORN instigates.
I LOVE THIS SIGN!!!!
The basis of this report - almost all of it - was penned by members of the Southern Poverty Law Center. It originally surfaced as a document circulated to law enforcement and the National Guard in Missouri some weeks back...
This document was obviously a ‘disinformation’ tactic perpetuated to discredit Conservatives all over America.
The false and totally fabricated origin of the document was revealed then ... followed by a retraction by several Missouri officials...
I don’t have the links - so please - one of you bright folks get the facts and post them... for which I would be very thankful.
