Where were you born Mr. Obama? This was the question raised in an article by Diana West, a columnist for the Washington Times on Dec. 20, 2008. In her article, she attempted to summarize the background of the Obama birth certificate controversy. This article should be of primary interest to all U.S. citizens because our Constitution requires that our president must be a natural-born citizen of the U.S. This raises the question: Is Mr. Obama a natural-born citizen of the U.S.? None of the information provided to date answers this question. With all the investigative agencies in this country and the ever-nosy media, nobody has been able to secure a copy of the original Obama birth certificate.
What does Mr. Obama's original birth certificate say? Why hasn't Mr. Obama authorized the release of his original birth certificate and put an end to all these questions; unless of course, he has something to hide? Diana West goes on to say, and I agree, that it is nothing less than good citizenship to seek and verify that Mr. Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen since our elites and the mainstream media failed to bring this important matter to its extremely simple resolution long ago. Instead, we the people only have online access to an Obama document known as a Certification of Live Birth which is a computer generated short form not even accepted by the Hawaii Department of Home Land as adequate verification of Hawaiian identity. The Department of Home Land requires information that is found only on the long original Certification of Live Birth or long form. That still leaves us with the question: Are you a natural-born U.S. citizen Mr. Obama? We will know the answer only when Mr. Obama releases his original birth certificate to the proper authorities. Failure to do so will only create a questionable suspicious aura around this entire matter and leave the voters wondering just who they voted for in the first place.

Victory for the Constitution!
President Obama’s biographers will need to know a little more than is currently known about his birthplace. After all, the presidential birthplace should be a national monument. Preparations should be started now to preserve it. Where is the house in which he was born, or was it a hospital, I can’t remember?
Since Obama is one of our youngest presidents, the doctor who attended his birth should still be alive. Historians and journalists would like to interview him. What was his name?
Oh, you could just look on the original birth certificate to answer both of these questions. There are books to be written and documentaries to be made about this unique president of the United States.
The questions remain for me are
why is obama fighting so hard to not have his birth certificate made public?
Why did his family members say they saw him born in Kenya and were there at the birth?
I do not know if he is an American or not but those two questions do raise a lot of doubts for me.
He could put this rumour to bed in one minute by showing it and yet he doesn’t.
According to another thread, all case concerning The One’s birth certificate issue has been removed for the SCOTUS docket. Now how did that happen?
Odds are that ODS will outlast Obama. The truthers can keep their threads and put up tin foil walls to keep out the “trolls” for all I care. But I also value them for putting forth constructive suggestions on other threads as many do all the time.
And when Congress passes laws to restrict the 2nd and whatever parts of the first they don’t like and whoever-we-end-up-with signs it?

I wonder why a man would go to great lengths to hide his birth certificate, get lawyers etc.
That in itself shows me he has something to hide.
He can clear this up in one minute but chooses to spend money going through the courts fighting it.
He gains nothing by doing that.
I don;t care what makes us foolish.
The law is the law and I do not care if cities burn, we are a nation of laws and the questions are why go to great lengths to hide the birth certificate and why did his own family say they saw him born in Kenya.
This can be cleared up right away by stop fighting it in court and just show it
Because the court that reviewed that "evidence" saw that it consisted of a couple of statements by Berg. In other words, worthless. If you are going to argue this case, at least dig up some legal arguments.

Go to court my butt. When will a group of patriots with guts walk into the Hawaii office which houses Hussein’s actual, full length birth certificate and demand to see it? And when refused, simply take it! Sure it is illegal as hell. And sure, these folks would be in deep, dark trouble. But it’s pretty obvious that the MEssiah is hiding his true place of birth. And in spite of the obligatory MSM barrage calling this group everything from conservative thugs to terrorists, Husseins illegitimacy would eventually become the top story—at least with the thinking public. Expecting the left to behave fairly, properly, according to Hoyle, in concert with the Constitution...pipe dream stuff. We had better start following their example of out and out criminality or watch the nation destroyed. In the meantime, don’t tell me any more about the unfairness of the Supreme Court or the latest suit filed. Show some guts at last and get the thing by hook or crook, or shut up.
Let's stop and look at that point...Yesterday we found that the "Buzz" on the Blogs caused Zer0 to take a second attempt at the Oaf of Office.
The same Buzz on the Blogs calls to question his eligibility...far, far more buzz for far, far longer...why quick action on the oath but no response to "We The People" on the BC issue.
Point here for me, if this classless man has the ability to prove his transparency and show us a valid CoLB but has not done so because...well, just because he just can't be concerned or bothered with that, then I have almost as big a problem with is leadership of this country as I do with the eligibility issue.
Rumor and tales are not evidence.
So you would have us believe that only Hillary and her minions, of all the people in this country, are capable of uncovering the evidence showing Obama was born overseas? Absolutely nobody else, none of those filing lawsuits, are smart enough or capable enough to do it? And instead of using it to win the highest office in the land, she instead uses it to blackmail him into giving her a cabinet post? Does that about sum it up?

Yet he just gained MSM cred for redoing the oath. It shows his concern for all the formalities of the office so there can be no doubt about his eligilbility.

I agree. If there’s any dirt out there, the Clintons will have it.
