Where were you born Mr. Obama? This was the question raised in an article by Diana West, a columnist for the Washington Times on Dec. 20, 2008. In her article, she attempted to summarize the background of the Obama birth certificate controversy. This article should be of primary interest to all U.S. citizens because our Constitution requires that our president must be a natural-born citizen of the U.S. This raises the question: Is Mr. Obama a natural-born citizen of the U.S.? None of the information provided to date answers this question. With all the investigative agencies in this country and the ever-nosy media, nobody has been able to secure a copy of the original Obama birth certificate.
What does Mr. Obama's original birth certificate say? Why hasn't Mr. Obama authorized the release of his original birth certificate and put an end to all these questions; unless of course, he has something to hide? Diana West goes on to say, and I agree, that it is nothing less than good citizenship to seek and verify that Mr. Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen since our elites and the mainstream media failed to bring this important matter to its extremely simple resolution long ago. Instead, we the people only have online access to an Obama document known as a Certification of Live Birth which is a computer generated short form not even accepted by the Hawaii Department of Home Land as adequate verification of Hawaiian identity. The Department of Home Land requires information that is found only on the long original Certification of Live Birth or long form. That still leaves us with the question: Are you a natural-born U.S. citizen Mr. Obama? We will know the answer only when Mr. Obama releases his original birth certificate to the proper authorities. Failure to do so will only create a questionable suspicious aura around this entire matter and leave the voters wondering just who they voted for in the first place.

Most of us on the right have taken Obama's election and inauguration pretty hard.
Some of have resorted to invoking interlocking chains of conspiracy theories to explain it all. There's no use arguing with them since it just serves to confirm one's place in that web of evil doers and conspirators.

Obama is benefitting from the privacy afforded him under Hawaiian state law. I am a little bit surprised that the Clintons couldn’t have somehow sidled past security & obtained a copy to be released through their friends at “The National Enquirer” or some such outlet. OTOH, I am not surprised at all that the Republicans came up empty. Hardball is not a game that they are any good at.

I would have loved for this to have been proven before he was sworn in. You’re being unrealistic about the consequences of trying to remove him now.

It wouldn’t be in the best interest of the country to subject it to the damage that would be done, especially with the economic problems we’re already experiencing.

We are asking for a copy of the Glorious One’s Birth Certificate. We are not denying evidence nor malforming the truth. That ... that would be you.

NOT IN A MILLION YEARS-—if you can remember some of their debates, they compulsively engaged in a little smearing and counter-smearing of one another. “You’ve got the goods on me?.....well, I’ve got the goods on you, too!”
All this ended in due course, died its own natural/pragmatic death. It became clear that the tide shifted away from Hillary at a certain point, and the tide shifted with or without the perception that there was this juicy citizenship story that she was or wasn’t interested in pursuing. Team Obama could just have easily opened up the archives of a twenty plus year can of WHoopass on Team Clinton as Team Clinton did on everyone else for their eight Glory Years. But Team Clinton AND Hillary learned , as time went on, that the most she was going to get , hope for, and be rewarded by, was the post she finally got. As far as it went during the campaigns, it was already perceived as doing more damage to their Party than anything else.The Dems couldn’t have been unaware of just how much they were helping the Republican cause at the daily spectacle of the 2 chief candidates destroying one another. The Obama juggernaut rolled right over her just as the Clinton juggernaut had rolled over everyone else “in its time”.
Her time was now over.
And I can hardly imagine what will happen if he remains.
Why have a natural born provision in our Cosntitution anyway?
Our founding fathers were smart enough to know that someone actually born here will have a better innate wisdom in protecting this country than someone born elsewhere.
Don’t we want that for someone charged with the defense of this country, which is, after all, the primary purpose for the President.
All it takes is for SCOTUS to subpoena a copy of Obama’s original birth certificate and then stick to it. Then it would be President Biden (and that’s “stand up Chuck”) unless they DQ the entire ticket.
That hidden BC will eventually come to light if it has anything on it that does not square perfectly with Barry's purported biography, there are too many people too damn curious about it, somebody somewhere will have access, and the price will be right to risk ruining a career over peeking at it.
Our President is an orating puppet.
Everyone has gotten their hooks into him and like Clinton, every person who has invested in Obama is going to get very rich very soon.
Advice? When you see an opportunity to make big money, get in and get out fast. We are about to experience a Dot.Com boom. Apparently the global warming thing is done. What will be next?

Exactly—I keep wondering WHY won’t he just release it? I find it sad that NOW a lone newspaper will inquire and comment about this issue. :(
NO to the contrary. There is only evidence that Obama was born in Kenya (per his own grandmother). WHERE was he born in Hawaii if that’s what you contend???
