Western New York Paranormal was asked to conduct a paranormal investigation at the historic ghost town of Valentown in Victo, New York. There had been local legends of ghosts inhabiting the building and the property surrounding it for decades. Workers and volunteers have reported unexplained noises, touches, and moving shadows. It's not unlike any other investigation, or so we thought.
The week the team was scheduled to go in, an episode appeared on Sci Fi's Ghost Hunters where their team did an investigation of Valentown. And so it was discovered that another team had investigated as well, so wouldn't it be interesting to correlate all the data together and see exactly what we all came up with...
Due to the controversial nature of this footage and the investigator's affiliation with another regional group - the identity of the investigator has been preserved.
The investigation began unlike any other investigation with a walkthrough of the the building using our technical people and sensitives to determine the best placement for cameras and audio for the optimum capture results. After the walk through of the huge building, it was determined that stationary IR cameras would be placed on the 3rd floor ballroom, 2nd floor grange and "electric wheel" room, and in the basement. These cameras would record unmanned all evening long and record directly down to a digital hard drive which allowed us to free up the team to spread out through this expansive buildibng.
Three teams of four peolpe worked their way through the building. With a team beginning on each floor, slowly recording evp's, taking photographs, and shooting palm videos. Impressions will be reported at a later date because a second investigation of this location in being planned due to some unexplained results that were captured.
We present these results for your consideration, and we would like your comments on them. The photograph of the dark shadow in the window is unexplained. At the time of this posting, officials at Valentown states that there is nothing drapped in that room which would cause such a reflection.
The video you are about to watch, we can't explain. We sent this video to several experts in the field, television producers, and even the camera manufacturer. Let us know your thoughts...

LOL! Ghosts! Right!
There's a tombstone here in Kentucky if you go up to it and ask "what are you doing"? It'll say nothing.
Guess it's too much trouble for them to show you a normal color version so you can see what the room looks like, maybe reflective surfaces. Probably just a digital insert.
Inneresting. Thanks for the ping, Curly--always interesting.
Good catch...
If there's something weird in your neighborhood
Who you gonna call?
CALL ME!
If there's something strange and it don't look good
Who you gonna call?
CALL!
If you're seeing things running through your head
Who can you call?
GHOSTBUSTERS!
An invisible man sleeping in your bed
Who you gonna call?
GHOSTBUSTERS!
(Oh yeah)
I ain't afraid of no ghost,
Public, as in, more than one "investigating team?"
Figures that something would be caught on tape...even if it weren't a real apparition.
Yup. What you said.
cool. it looks like an old man hobbling along!
Public, as in "general public."
Thanks for the ping CB. I'll watch it in the morning. Dang! You always post these late at night when I'm sitting here, alone, in a dark room! LOL! Mr. sneakers and I have been invited to join a "ghost-hunting" group. In fact, they got some of their software from TAPS. I'm going to make a terrible, scaredy-cat ghost hunter if I can't even watch a VIDEO of an alleged ghost! :-)
Being an expert in neither the paranormal or infrared, I find it interesting that the IR signatures of the two individuals are completely different.
Ping of *possible* interest.
I know what you mean! Took 131 seconds to download! And it's a crock of BS to boot!
Late-night ghost ping!
The floor mounted cross they claim is in the background BEHIND the "ghost" and can be seen through the "ghost" as it walks toward the camera's right is actually in the forground and the ghost walks behind it... no transparency required. This is an artifacting of infrared... the temperature signatures of the cross and the "ghost" are very close, not quite the same, but close.
Just viewed it. Very interesting. Looks like an elderly person. Not likely somebody who you would take along on an investigation of this nature.
Thanks, interesting video but IMO, easy to fake.
I think we call the Valentown Ghosts..."Advertising".
