Whatever you thought of his actions, nobody predicted it.

Have any of the contest winners actually gone on to do anything? Didn't the first guy essentially move to Chicago and disappear? I confess, I don't keep up with this stuff.

If Trump wanted to give her a shared position, then he should have made that decision. Now Rebecca Jarvis lost twice. She was snubbed by Trump more so than by Pinkett.

I agree with Randal. It seemed tone deaf to me for the Donald to ask the Black Aprrentice to share his prize. he never asked the bland white guys who've won before to do that-- Randal was a dominant performer and deserved to be the only Apprentice crowned last night.

This is sarcasm right?? Certainly you can't care that much.

I thought his actions, showed a lack of class. It also showed that he may be a problem in the future because he does not like to share the spotlight. If Trump was smart he hire her anyway. She is 23 and almost beat the guy with more educations and experience. She is a tough cookie.

But her team failed to raise any money for their charity, which Trump felt was unacceptableI remember reading somewhere about a college campus where student groups could borrow money for fundraisers but they couldn't raise the money without borrowing it.... they would borrow and spend $10K to raise $5K or something like that. It must have been in California or something

Now Rebecca Jarvis lost twice. Actually, most Apprentice runners up have made more money than the winner has - and without Grumpy Donald as a boss. Bill (first season) is leaving, Kelly (second season) is already gone and Kendra (third season) got out of her contract. At least Rebecca knows there's a job waiting for her at Yahoo.

True. Of course I meant the winner of the show. It would have been fine if Trump congratulated Pinkett on becoming the "Apprentice" and just offered Jarvis a position too. The fact that Trump asked Pinkett was in bad taste for an executive...if he really wanted to offer her a job.

Where did you get your info about Bill, Kelly and Kendra?? I thought Randall made the right call last night and he did use the words "not tonight" when Donald asked him about hiring Rebecca. He is free to hire her today or tomorrow but Randall competed for and deservedly won the top spot.

Randall reminds me of many military officers who are book smart and got 1500 on the SAT but are as dumb as a box of rocks !

Wrong answer if Trump Enterprises is better off with her.

Who cares about this babble?
This type of question makes me wonder about the mental acuity of the person asking it.
The people discussing it on this board "care" about it. People who watch it on TV "care" about it.
A more poignant question is, if YOU do not care about it, why read the post and then take the time to write and post a response questioning why others care about it??

I thought it was a low blow. He'd be dam lucky to find anybody else as talented as Rebecca on the open market.

I only caught the last segment of this series. As it all unfolded, I realized that Rebecca did an outstanding job of sucking up to Yahoo .. but she forgot that the goal was to raise money. If she didn't do that, then she failed her mission. She got confused over who her client was. She also dropped the ball, bigtime, when she failed to go out and greet Trump when he arrived. That may seem like a small thing, but you don't leave your boss out there by himself . . it was a major mistake.
That was when I realized that she was going to lose. No matter how well she had done in everything else, she lacked the experience to determine who her client was, and that you don't treat your boss like he is a nobody. She also missed the goal .. she didn't raise any money.
I have known a lot of educated idiots. Randall did not strike me as one of them.

ie., most of them have spent so much time in the safe unchallenging insular academia environment they become rendered socially inept for the real world. When its the student(or parents/scholarship) who is forking over all that college tuition the student always gets the pat on the head.
I have to agree with you on that.
