Whatever you thought of his actions, nobody predicted it.

Have any of the contest winners actually gone on to do anything? Didn't the first guy essentially move to Chicago and disappear? I confess, I don't keep up with this stuff.

If Trump wanted to give her a shared position, then he should have made that decision. Now Rebecca Jarvis lost twice. She was snubbed by Trump more so than by Pinkett.

I agree with Randal. It seemed tone deaf to me for the Donald to ask the Black Aprrentice to share his prize. he never asked the bland white guys who've won before to do that-- Randal was a dominant performer and deserved to be the only Apprentice crowned last night.

I thought his actions, showed a lack of class. It also showed that he may be a problem in the future because he does not like to share the spotlight. If Trump was smart he hire her anyway. She is 23 and almost beat the guy with more educations and experience. She is a tough cookie.

But her team failed to raise any money for their charity, which Trump felt was unacceptable

I remember reading somewhere about a college campus where student groups could borrow money for fundraisers but they couldn't raise the money without borrowing it.... they would borrow and spend $10K to raise $5K or something like that. It must have been in California or something

Wrong answer if Trump Enterprises is better off with her.

His actions were a real betrayal. She and he worked on several projects together and I think she did the better job. More importantly, she was a loyal and helpful team member which made him look good.

I think Trump made the wrong decision. On several projects Randal was stumped for what to do or he spent time on meanliness action. She showed good judgement and performance all the way. One downside was her unwavering loyalty to an incompetent contestant. But Trump seemed to like the loyalty.

I suspected that Randall would win.
I suspected that Trump would offer both jobs

I did not suspect that Randall would less-than-graciously shut the door on a more-than-qualified friend and team-mate that helped him get where he is.

Business is truly brutal.

He had the job. He should have known it. I would have said, "If there is room in your (Trump's) organization for one more qualifed candidate, I believe it would be in your best interest to also hire Rebecca."

It would have only made himself shine more.

I think Randal's decision was out of synch with everything else he did on the show. something about it doesn't pass the smell test, and it wouldn't surprise me if there was some kind of backstage maneuvering going on that led up to this. As I said to Mrs. Slowboat last night, if Randal had said yes, we would have all said "that's nice", and forgotten about it. Instead, it's the big controversy and the subject of a lot of discussion and speculation.

Look for an epilogue that will get more ratings for Trump.

And Raj from last season (I think he was in last season) is running for Congress as a Republican in Pennsylvania's 13th District.

Both Raj and Maria (same season as Raj) were the Masters of Ceremony at the Young Republican convention in Las Vegas in July.

"But her team failed to raise any money for their charity, which Trump felt was unacceptable."

Maybe if her charity went bankrupt, Trump would have felt more charitable.

What made me laugh is that every week they kept saying it's a 12 week interview process. It isn't 12 weeks at all. Rebecca broke her ankle right at the start and was still on crutches at the end, it does not take 12 weeks for a bone to heal.

Did anyone ask the Rams to share the Super Bowl trophy with Tennessee when Tennessee fell a mere inches short of the winning score in SB XXXIV? In a contest to pick "The Apprentice" there can be only one. It has always been advertised as such, played as such, and that's part of the show's appeal. Good people have been fired before. Just being a "star" does not make you the winner of the Apprentice or grant you any special right to be hired.

Asking Randall to essentially share his victory was bad taste. Trump has gotten rid of stars before, regardless of how good they might have been for his company because that's the way the whole show was set up.

Rebecca was certainly the most competitve #2 in the show's 4 seasons, and she will go on to have a great career no matter what she does. She may even work for Trump one day....perhaps in the very near future.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer here. Either way Randall went, I would stand by his decision to do so.

All I know is the only player that I ever saw doing anything impressive, wasn't one of the two finalist, was the older blond with the accent. She was the only one I saw getting it done in the few episodes I watched.
