I looked at your tag and then I realized it was backwards spell.
When I reverse it, I get:
"crahma man' ehdiub uht aht a on ,eliéhf od snna noís liehb A"
which makes a lot more sense!
Howya been?

we'd have a bit of an Ice Age as a result, but human life would definitely survive.
high technology would probably also survive.
not saying it would be fun, but it wouldn't be Judgement Day either

"Last time it blew BIG it took out the dinosaurs (IIRC)" I think you'll find that your time scale is off by about a thousand.
Yellowstone blew in the last hundred thousand years, while the dinosaurs quit romping around sixty-five million years ago, presumably (with good evidence), because of the chicxulub meteor.

I guess IDNRC.
I need to do a little research and get back to this.
Actually, I thought the Dinosaurs disappeared due to Rising Expectations.

The dinosaurs didn't disappear. They're living in Fresno with Jimmy Hoffa.

Blame my backwards tag on sionnsar! He translated it!
I've been quite a bit better since I moved here, so that's good. We've had some cool nights the last week (27 on Sunday night) but I still have my doors and windows open...
I DID, however, have to finally shut off the fans!
How have you been? I hope you can stick around to post a little more often. You know we're "moving" tomorrow, right?

But who would want to stick around for that? I saw a think over the weekend on a Mini-Ice Age that took place in the 1400's...it seems that was one of the reasons the Stradivarius violins are so unique...
It also seems to be the reason that potatoes replaced grains as a food staple in Europe.
And why the plague was so devastating. Pretty interesting.

Good to hear -- yes, it's been a little cold here too (Dallas).
Next week I go to Denver for a 2 month gig. *Brrrr*
