The Mystery of Illegal Immigration: My Theory as to why both parties are shirking the duty.
06/19/05 | Tom Haas

Posted on 06/19/2005 12:06:58 AM PDT by Mr.Haas

Before I begin explaining my theory, can we all agree that illegal immigration is a problem that most Americans (even liberals are against it, most of the time) disagree with? I voted for G.W. Bush for his second term because I was most certain that such a "conservative" President would do us all a favor and stop the 15 million illegal immigrants in our country, sneaking into our country at the rate of 3 million per year. After all, if homeland security is so important during this unprecedented magnitude of war, surely securing the borders should be at the top of that list, correct? Well, sadly, both parties have failed us. Illegal immigration is at an all time high.

So what's going on? I have the answer:

This may sound a little too "conspiracy theorist" for your taste, but it's the only explanation I can think of; and I'm quite positive I'm right.

Before we think about our ineptitude in securing the border, we must take China into consideration.

Oh My! What ever do I mean by this?!

China, to me, will be the next super-power, economically and militaristically, within the next 15 to 50 years. They are agressively trying to emulate our economy, technology, and military. Now, this wouldn't be a problem if history didn't teach us that two powerful countries cannot exist on the same planet at the same time. Competition between powerful nations will always breed war. Therefore, it would be reasonable for us to stay ahead of China in every aspect of power, correct?

What is the one thing China has that We the people do not? POPULATION.

China has almost triple our population. If they could emulate our military's technology, they could stomp us in the ground, because they would be able to draft three times as many people. Catching on yet?

My theory is that the "open border" we seem to be seeing is actually a meticulously calculated plan to augment our population drastically to prepare for future wars, especially one with China.

3 million illegals per year. In fifteen years, that would be 45 Million new people (plus our natural 1-2 percent growth as an MDC).

Draft all the young latino men. You've got a war with China. Bam!

Apprehension numbers are not the same as illegal immigration numbers

Expand for what reason? So foreign cultures can pay federal taxes?

If mexico could manage their own affairs and create a state without poverty, crime, corruption, and a massive drug trade, then I'd consider it a candidate for state #51. Erasing our borders will only spread those problems to here.

If you have a better way of estimating the number of illegals that enter the country, please let those of us that work in immigration law enforcement know. Apps are what we use.

Well! You can look at those numbers and conclude that Illegal Immigration is on the decline as well. It all depends if you look at the glass as half full or half empty.

Less apprehensions could also equate to as not as many border crossers to apprehend

Considering the increase in the number of Border Agents we have now, compared to what we had back in 2000, I think it's reasonable to conclude that the number of attempted illegal border crossings are down

The only folks that would conclude that are the ones that don't live and work along the border. Those of us that do, know the truth.

Goodnight.

So you're telling me that you and your fellow border patrol officers are not doing your job as well as you did in 2000?

LOL. Of course the numbers are down from 2000. That's what I said in the beginning. As for the number of new Agents, we have about 1,000 more now, then in 2000 and not all are working along the southwest border.

"Both parties want the Hispanic vote."

I may seem a little off track here, but my observation of the Mexican lifestyle is one that is very prolific. Catholic dogma has taught them not to use contraceptives, so, whether or not they can afford to feed another mouth, they breed like rabbits. 15M today could more than quadruple in twenty years.

Amnesty and a few other entitlements should ensure that THEY not only have the vote, they have control.

Again, I don't think politicians are thinking twenty years ahead, not even five. While I don't know the exact figures, yes, the Hispanic population is growing very quickly, - far faster than the white or black segments, but that has little to do with the current posture of both parties.

We on track to apprehend lees then 50% of the FY 2000 total.

But is the border patrol working with the same efficiency now as then? There have been stories that we are dragging our feet purposely now? It appears to many of us that the government wants illegal immigration.

I can tell you that everyone I talk to sees 5 times the number of Hispanics in the public as they did just 2 years ago. The numbers have increased dramatically.

A war with Chinese will result in A LOT of dead Chinese.

And the funny part is, the Chinese know this and the idiots trolls, like yourself, don't.
