Question, is flag day as in a flag like the stars and strips or Union flag? Or does it refer to a charity day such as in the UK Poppy Day or Cancer Research day as we used to call them flag days because years ago when you gave some money you got a little paper flag to pin on your jacket.

Spiritual Deafness
The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. 1 Corinthians 2:14
|
Some people suffer from a strange hearing disorderthey can hear sounds but can't understand words. They have no trouble hearing a bird sing or a watch tick, but words are as unintelligible as if they were a foreign language. The source of the problem is not in the ears. It stems from an injury to the brain.
There is also a spiritual deafness that affects many people. Because of a sinful heart, those without faith in Christ can read the Bible and hear the teachings of God's Word, but its spiritual message is foolishness to them (1 Corinthians 2:14). That explains why some people can appreciate the Bible as literature, as reliable history, and as a source of high moral standards, but they fail to understand its spiritual message. They don't grasp the significance of what it says about ChristHis death on the cross for our sins, His resurrection, and His ministry of intercession for us in heaven today. These truths make no sense to them. As you read the Bible, do you "hear" what it says? If not, ask the Lord to open your understanding to what it says about Jesus. Put your trust in Him as your personal Savior and experience a spiritual birth. That's the cure for spiritual deafness. Richard De Haan
We cannot understand God's truth Until we know the Lord; It's when our heart is home to Him We understand His Word. Anon.
The key to understanding the written Word is knowing the Living Word.

Hi snugs! Flag Day celebrates the U.S. Flag - as in the stars and stripes. It is the anniversary of when the original Continental Congress adopted the first US flag on June 14, 1777. It had 13 stars and 13 stripes.

Nice to See Blondes Win One
A lawyer and a blonde woman happen to be sitting next to each other on a
long flight from L. A. to New York. The lawyer leans over to her and
asks if she would like to play a fun game. The blonde is tired and just
wants to take a nap, so she politely declines and rolls over to the
window to catch a few winks.
The lawyer persists, saying that the game is really easy and a lot of
fun. He explains how the game works. "I ask you a question, and if you
don't know the answer, you pay me, and vice-versa." Again, the blonde
politely declines and tries to get some sleep.
The lawyer figures that since his opponent is a blonde he will easily
win the match, so he makes another offer. "Okay, how about this. If you
don't know the answer you pay me only $5, but if I don't know the
answer, I will pay you 500 dollars."
This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring that there will be no
end to this torment unless she plays, she agrees to play the game.
The lawyer asks the first question.. "What's the distance from the Earth
to the moon?" The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches in to her purse,
pulls out a five dollar bill, and hands it to the lawyer.
Now, it's the blonde's turn. She asks the lawyer. . "What goes up a hill
with three legs, and comes down with four?" The lawyer looks at her with
a puzzled look. He takes out his laptop computer and searches all the
references. He taps into the Air-phone with his modem and searches the
Net and even the Library of Congress. Frustrated he sends E-mails to all
his coworkers and friends he knows....all to no avail.
After over an hour of searching for the answer he finally gives up. He
wakes the blonde and hands her $500.
The blonde politely takes the $500 and turns away to get back to sleep.
The lawyer, who cannot imagine what the answer is, and is going nuts
trying to figure it out, is more than a little frustrated! He wakes the
blonde and asks, "Well, so what goes up a hill with three legs and comes
down with four?"
The blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5, and goes back to
sleep.

Good afternoon, Snugs. Hope you are having a great day. I see that Tulip answered your question. She did a much better job that I would have done with the explanation.
I think anyone outside the USA can celebrate Flag Day with any flag that they would like to fly tomorrow.
Looking forward to your graphics today.
