Repose
Gather ye rosebuds... So they say,
And flowers ornamental.
Wear perfumed clothes in sweet repose,
With music sentimental.
The beautied bride prepares to stride,
In pomp and decoration,
Up to an altar with her Beau,
To make their declaration.
Thus we begin a special tale,
Of long and happy living,
Of tempests fought, and shelter sought,
And tempers found forgiving.
Through all the daily drudgings,
And all the meals they blest,
Each one at last seeks solace,
The peace of final rest.
How then to win a suitor,
And find a fine abode,
Except the way we learned before,
We set out on this road?
We place their friends around them,
And flowers ornamental.
In perfumed clothes and sweet repose,
With music sentimental.
In hopes a great all-seeing eye,
Will spot this decoration,
To take it up for its own sake,
And each will find salvation.

Hi there.. I just sweated bullets for a few hours trying to get my first "Finest" up.. one "LITTLE" glitch..but worked out. Billie my mentor has weekend company... you do such nice work on your thread. People take for granted the quality on the Finest & Amy's Place... not for the faint of heart is it?

Thank you, Dolly.
My thread is so much easier than the Finest. My header stays the same every day. I just post a new Welcome Graphic and Poem. The most difficult for me is finding other items to get the thread started.
Today is jelly bean day; sooooo .... Happy Jelly Bean Day to you!!!

Now, now Amy... no Jelly Bean Cake until one has their main course.. Jelly bean soup!Jellybean Soup
We're camping out,
What a lucky group.
We're going to dine
On jelly bean soup.
We'll cook those beans
Till they're red hot.
Add M&Ms
To fill up the pot.
We'll eat that soup
And when we're through,
We'll have our tasty
Marshmallow stew.
We'll pick our teeth
With a Tootsie Roll.
Tomorrow it's
Chocolate casserole!

"I like white ones."
"Here are two."
"I like black."
"But there are so few."
"I want pink ones."
"Two for you."
"I like orange."
"WHAT shall we do-
there isn't an orange,
I've looked them through."
"Awwww."
"Wait! here's a red,
and a yellow too-
THAT'LL make orange
when you get through."
